I have a question.
Should one of the players become 100% evil, do people they've targeted at night become more dead? |
Probably, but in rare cases maybe not.
Let's say that Player A attacks player B, and nobody else has attacked player B. The odds that player B is dead are intrinsically tied to the odds that player A is the alpha wolf. So as future days and nights adjust A's % evil, B's % dead will adjust as well even if B is never targeted again.
However, in some cases it may be possible to prove that player A is the beta wolf. This would make A 100% evil, but it would make B 0% dead since the beta wolf doesn't get to kill until the alpha is burned. |

This deliberation is simply too painful. Tossing about could-bes and probablys, all the while wondering whether you might accidentally say something the others might deem incriminating. It's bad enough thinking your neighbors might be werewolves without them thinking you might be one too, without thinking *yourself* that you might be one too. No, it's better to just get things over with. Today will not drag on like yesterday did.
A quick decision is made to burn LordKinbote. You fetch more rope, the previous stock being a bit too burnt to use. Your neighbors tie him to the pyre and light it. Eerily, he doesn't say a word.
The flames burn into his flesh, his hair, but he doesn't make a sound. He simply lies there, staring at the sky. The silence is deafening until a small hole burns through his lung, and the escaping air lets out a howl.
But in that howl is something sinister. LordKinbote turns to face you, smiles, and howls again, this time voluntarily, and the smoke defines a new degree of black.
The town trembles and realizes that the aura of death is still upon them. A quick search reveals that some members of the town have gone missing. You begin the search, and almost simultaneously two of your neighbors call that they've found something. Amb and Leonidas are found dead, but the death is not fresh. Both are cold and stiff, caked in dry blood, and the bugs have already gotten to Amb.
Three bodies, two innocent. The sun begins to set and you head home to sleep off this bittersweet day.
LordKinbote, alpha wolf, has been burned.
His two victims, Amb and Leonidas, have turned up dead.
Night 3, send your attacks. Now that the alpha wolf is dead you may attack someone that you attacked before, as that attack was guaranteed to be unsuccessful.

You awaken, confident from yesterday's burning, and set out to find the other wolf that is plaguing your village.

| And the percent dead doesn't mean much besides linking players to numbers. Anyone we lynch will will either be innocent or be wolf (kills one other person, town wins.) |

| Apologies; I meant LordKinbote. This is simply a typing error and not a modding error; you did burn the alpha wolf. I will fix it. |

So, yeah, it doesn't matter who we lynch.
Should we go for whoever has the least posts? We'll likely need people who are participating later on. |

@all - I'm male, kthx.
@Courk - interesting, since I'm fairly sure I've got you pegged as well. But if I'm understanding the game correctly, with us all being reset to an even evil percent and seer confirmed dead, no one's evil will go up more than anyone else's. _________________ [VXCL] 075-1DR

The burnings are becoming all too familiar, all too simple. Even with fewer and fewer people, it's becoming simpler and simpler to secure the screaming appointee to the pyre. Almost mechanical.
You fasten isauteikisa in place and light the pyre. You hope that your momentum from a successful burning will carry over, but your confidence is misplaced. Nothing about isauteikisa's burnt corpse indicates anything evil. He was nothing but an innocent villager.
It is now night 4. Please send your attacks as soon as possible. |

If 6 is a wolf, then with the burning 7 and 8 die, leaving 9 alive.
If 7 is a wolf, then 9 and 8 die, leaving 6 alive.
If 8 is a wolf, then 7 and 9 die, leaving 6 alive.
If 9 is a wolf, then 7 and 8 die, leaving 6 alive.
None of those result in a loss for the town.
If 6 isn't a wolf, then 7, 8, and 9 will all be 33% evil, and everyone would have already targeted every other living player. This would mean everyone would be 66% dead and it'd be random luck.
If 7 isn't a wolf, then 6 will only have the choice to attack 9, and 8 and 9 will only have the choice to attack 6. Everyone would be 33% evil and 66% dead -- same situation as above. 8's in a very similar boat.
If 9 isn't a wolf, then 6 will have no one to target, and 7 and 8 will only have the choice of targetting 6. All 33% evil, all 66% dead.
It doesn't matter who we lynch, it all comes down to groza's randomizer deciding what role we have. |

Well, yeah, I'd object, too. There's a reason the dice rolls haven't included myself. I was just pointing out that there's no logical reason to vote or not vote for anyone else, it's all random. |
