Re: Blackadder, the four series (well, the first especially) are very different in style and humour. If you don't like one series, then try the others before dismissing the lot.

Well I wouldn't go that far - but yes, the humour does mature from the silliness of series 1. There's still "silly" in the others (it's a comedy programme of course) but rather wittier and more polished.
