| I'm a bit at a loss. More and more it seems there are no mafia, and I'm now forced to kill at night anyway. The way my role changed just seems like a mod not realizing a hole in their design and retroactively changing it to fix the problem. To me it seems I was intended to be the only one doing the killing, but was mistakenly not forced to originally. |

| Feh. I think it's in town's best interest to know this: The mod sent me a PM that implied was I was targetted for a night kill last night. (It's possible I may be misinterpretting that role PM.) |

Mainly, the issue is that the PM I got only suggested I was in danger, but didn't have much in the way of specifics. |

No, but the way everything's worded, I don't think it's that any method I use would fail, but more of a "Invalid choice, please try again" type of thing. |

OK, let me come out in the open then. I had a reason to ask Thok: I investigated him last night (mainly because he is one of the players I find difficult to get nay readin on) and got a guilty - so a msg by the mod that he is in danger fits. I do not believe for one moment that Thok is mafia after his recent posts, so that makes me an insane or paranoid cop. That also implies usually a few cops in the mix. We have 11 players, have a vig, 2 docs (likely), a couple of cops.. I don't believe we have a mafia to compensate for this overpowered town.
I support ending the game. _________________ My photography:

| For what it's worth, the official reason I'm now forced to kill is because Wall-E died. That doesn't really make sense to me, and, as I said before, it still feels like a retroactive hole-plug. |

Ok, it seems like we have a vig who is forced to kill, and possibly a paranoid cop. The people who have looked the most suspicious (to me) have either opposed endgame, implying they're not mafia (isauteisika and spindrift), or have been shown to be town (Wall-E). The one nightkill that we have had was by our vig. Also, I was told last night that I have become a paranoid townie with two votes. Add to that a plausible basis for a no-mafia situation (The Monsters are due on Maple Street), and a setup that allows this, and it all leads to the conclusion that there are, in fact, no mafia, and that an endgame vote is the correct course for the town.
That's my opinion, anyway. I will vote for endgame if people support the idea.[/b] |

| hmm this game seems to play into there being no mafia, with the paranoid cop, and a vig who has to kill every night. However I think that UM set this game up to make us question if this was a real game so I think we should lynch someone. |

Waves hi. (Note this is partially an "I can't win by ending the game" post.)
If we are going to go to end game (and I'm not sure we should), could we maybe do a mass claim first so we have the maximum amount of info to decide whether we end game or not. |

If I was scum, I'd have a guaranteed win by voting end game. As town, I've got only a probability of winning by voting end game. My post (and similarly spindrift's) rules out the probability of the guaranteed win for me. |

Well, I'm back. I checked on a couple of times while I was away, but I haven't had much to say.
Just a few thoughts at this point:
- Isautekisa: Who did you protect last night (and why)? Thok claims he may have been the target of a failed attack, it would be good to know whether his story matches yours.
- The only difference between a Vigilante and a Serial Killer is the win condition, particularly if the kill is compulsory. Courk is definately one of the two anyway.
- We don't seem to have any evidence of there being scum, other than Thok's claim.
- Silverfire's multiple vote has been as good as confirmed by the mod as far as I can tell.
- Thok requested a mass role claim before we vote end game. I can't help a great deal there, because I'm just Vanilla and have no powers. Although I guess that's a claim of sorts.
- Silverfire: What was your dice roll for? I didn't understand it. Are you rolling for who should claim first? |

@Irgy - I protected Courk. As we killed the other doc last round, I wanted to protect the claimed vig from a mafia NK. I was thinking that if there were scum around, I might get killed, and keeping the plan that was talked about was as good of an idea as I could come up with.
We've got a few claims out there, don't we?
Me == doc (claim)
Wall-E == doc (deceased, proven)
TGC == townie (deceased, proven)
Irgy == townie (claim)
Courk == vig (claim)
Silverfire == doublevote? (claim?)
Thok == ??? (aware of danger claim)
DP == paranoid? cop (claim)
Claim up, people. Give us info _________________ [VXCL] 075-1DR

That sounds perfectly sensible to me. The reason I asked was that it doesn't match with Thok's interpretation of his claimed night message. Unless there's three docs (and surely the third would have spoken up by now), how could a night attack on him have failed?
There seems to be overall reasonably good evidence that he's not scum making up some kind of bizzare, clever story. Which means the message has probably been misinterpreted.
As for the dice roll, 2 is you isauteikisa, so you should roll again. There's only three people we haven't heard from though really (thedragon'sprincess, Spindrift and Krad Drol), plus Thok who hasn't really claimed yet. I haven't heard much from Krad Drol for a while either. |

The only active player we haven't heard a claim from is spindrift (and possibly Thok; he just claimed "my role is really weird"). I would like prods/replacements for thedragon'sprincess and KradDrol. |

Since I have the whole "I didn't end the game when it would be a guaranteed win for scum" thing going for me, there's good reason for me to claim after thedragonsprincess/Krad Drol. (I literally don't care which order spindrift and I claim in.) Generally people who are more likely to be scum should claim before people who are less likely to be scum, as it gives them less of a chance to fake-claim.
(Don't worry, I will claim once thedragonsprincess and Krad Drol claim.) |

Which is why I pointed out why other information suggests which people should get the benefit of the imbalance.
Having been in this situation several times before (with me making the request to wait to claim when there was evidence that suggested I should be the person to wait to claim), I'm not particularly suspicious of a person being paranoid about my request. There's always somebody who's paranoid. |
