I just thought I should say, I'll be away skiing for a week leaving now, so I won't be very responsive. I'll be back on Tuesday night Sydney time, which probably means Tuesday morning to most of you. I expect I'll be able to check on occasionally while I'm there anyway, but I won't be able to do too much.
If I can't get on at all, and it fills up quickly, and you're all keen to get started really soon, then I won't be offended if you start without me (i.e. replace me or whatever), but I will be back in a week. |

Irgy: Don't do anyone I wouldn't do. Have fun/make money/sorry to hear about the funeral. I won't wait on you but there's also no penalty for doing what you're doing, so no worries. _________________ Don't read what I'm typing! |

I was thinking that if you can show your role PM then everyone would just show there role pm and the first person to either A) not want to show the PM or B) copy someone elses role PM would be scum.
Mabye I'm missing something but it seems rigged for the town. |

It's not very hard to send a fake PM to yourself and MSPaint shoop it.
Supposing everyone did what you say, there would be five copies of one role (or eight doubles, if the monsters play smart... remember that they can conference secretly and strategize).
If you randomly hung from that list while the monsters also nightkilled you'd likely lose, statistically speaking. _________________ Don't read what I'm typing! |

I was thinking that the wolfs would have to copy a PM already posted but I guess they could make up their own and say you sent it. |

Well... it's been a while. I'm doing another round of signups to see who's still interested. The new setup is for eight players.
SIGN UP NAO if you already signed up you have to do it AGAIN
RULES REDUX
Werewolf - Once per game this monster can change one player's win condition to "Wins with the monsters." This action cannot happen on any night the Vampire or Werewolf performs a night action. Wins with the monsters.
Vampire - Once per game this monster can kill one player at night. This action cannot happen on any night the Werewolf or Zombie performed a night action. Wins with the monsters.
Zombie - Once per game this monster can resurrect one player at night. This action cannot happen on any night the Werewolf or Vampire performed a night action. Resurrected players keep their win condition. Wins with the monsters.
Cleric - Once per game this hero can resurrect one player at night. The resurrected player loses all powers. Resurrected players keep their win condition. Wins with the heroes.
Mage - Once per game this hero can change one player's win condition to "Wins if dead." The Mage does not need to know the alignment of the target to do so. Wins with the heroes.
Seer - Every night this hero can test another player to determine their win condition. Wins with the heroes.
Warrior - Once per game this hero can kill one player at night. Wins with the heroes.
Jester - This hero wins if killed in any way OR with the town, whichever comes first. When he dies a player of his choice other than the Jester is resurrected with no powers. Resurrected players keep their win condition. This resurrection cannot be used if no players are dead when the Jester dies.
In this game you may edit posts, contact other players secretly, form voting blocs, fake outside conversations and photoshop screencaps of your role PM. Reader beware, the only rules are as follows: No moderator may use mod powers for advantageous purposes (e.g.: editing other player's posts) and no player may sign up under two accounts. The end. That's it. Don't get sweat all over your keyboard, it's just a game.
Feel free to curse, deride, hurl personal insults, get offended, delete your account and drink drain-o during the course of this game. It might be easier for you that way, just don't expect me not to make fun of you, you big baby.
A brownie trotted briskly through the woods, happily whistling the themesong to the X-Files. Suddenly, the nearby oak tree belonging to the wizard and known drunk Knockbutt the Nauseous exploded, rainbow light radiating from it in a kalideoscope of chaos.
"Oh NO! What have I done? There's a portal to the ninth dimension opening in my lab!!" cried the wizard who was then immediately impaled as a twenty foot long narwhal horn jutted from the nexus of randomness, spearing him cleanly through the heart. A loud sound like the moaning of a woman in passionate throes echoed amongst the trees of the forest, forcing the brownie onto its haunches, hands over its ears. The sound was replaced by a bee's hive drone and then a dialtone in rapid succession.
Curious, five brave warriors approached from their nearby campsite.
"What treacherous magick has befallen this tree?" wondered the Warrior, stepping on the brownie with a squish.
The smell of toasted hair wafted through the air.
"Magic is not treacherous, dimwit." The mage sniffed sardonically and pulled at his cloak.
Two pygmie donkeys chained together by a screaming metal band careened past, one of them fading into snow, the other sprouting wings and flying into the air.
"Quiet, you two. I see." The Seer put her hands to her eyes and they turned a solid, glowing white. She looked far off into the distance... not quite directly at the tree, which was now consumed with what appeared to be pink bunny-rabbit-shaped flames. "Monsters are approaching. They will be unstoppable if we allow them to enter our realm. We must venture into the tree to stop their approach or doom will certainly befall us all."
Christmas music began blaring from the oak.
The Jester grinned and knocked the Wizard into the tree. He stumbled and fell inside. "Whoops!" cried the prankster, leaping in after. The Warrior and Seer followed a half-step behind.
A smell of armpits and licorice blanketed the area, a heavy visible blue fog.
The Cleric shook his head and adjusted his mace. "I guess it's fate. Praise be to Joobalagackle. Amen" He stepped into the portal of... some kind of pudding with miniature tractors swirled throughout like rasins.
. . .
The ninth dimension obscures normal vision. Inside the tree, eight shapes move about in booger-colored fifth-dimenisonal oblique wave patterns. You know that three of these shapes are the dreaded monsters. Time to decide who's who... _________________ Don't read what I'm typing!
