David Eddings got me into reading fiction books at the age of 14 or 15. I only read books on Dinosaurs, Space and facts until then. The idea of reading a novel never appealed to me till then. A lot of people criticise his work, but for me it was a beneficial kick start to a whole new facet of life. I hope to meet him on the other side one day (as far away as possible mind you)

I just saw that she had passed away. There's also rumours that Michael Jackson is dead. At least he's been rushed to hospital, but TMZ is saying he died of cardiac arrest at the age of 50.

I'll hold off on the Jackson points until it has been positively confirmed.

Oh my word. Let the conspiracy theories begin... Revenge most foul!

(...so, someone paid Farah Fawcett to don her Charlie's Angels outfit one last time and then she was assassinated right in front of Jackson who died of shock...?)

Pitchman Billy Mays.

http://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/TV/06/28/mays.death/index.html

It sounds like he hit his head pretty hard recently. I wonder if he died of the same thing that actress did a few months back.

Why do these celebrities have to die in bunches? Why can't they spread their deaths out a little?

Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, and now Billy Mays. This has been quite a depressing week. I feel so mortal.

As far as I understood, he died from autoerotic aphyxiation (or masturbation accident, which sounds far more awesome).

Had you wanted to be extremely evil, you could've left out the phrase "the hockey player", making everyone click on the link to find out the truth. You would've scared a lot of people.
