Well, I guess if that's the riddle then it's some sort of cryptic? That's my only experience with weird statements with a number in parenthesis at the end. Only guess right now is "Allow me" may be 'let'. Dunno why they all have scum, other than to be annoying, though it always comes first or last.

If you believe there's a doc, so does the mafia. There's a reason you're still alive.

That, or you're simply mafia.

I'll give the puzzle a go now.

Allow me, scum (3)
Let?

Mr. Turner's scrap confused son and the king's daughter scum (17)
Ted....princess?

25th anniversary of beheaded ruler scum (9)
Silver(k)ing? Wikipedia says it's a real word

Scum juggling balls, one absent large. (10)
(anagram of balls)+I+[something]+L?

That's the best I've got so far. Silvering and Let are the only solid answers that fit my cryptic theory, so maybe it's formatted like a cryptic as a red herring? Something to do with picking that many letters from the clue? Scum being at the start or end determining in what way? Any help would be great.

Also: I have no reason to trust raekuul's inspection, but UM hasn't done much scummy activity, just the one post that ruffled everyone's feathers way back, and suggesting no lynch yesterday. I'm still of the opinion that raekuul's claim was a bad call, if not scummy.

Hey guys, sorry I was away during the weekend, but now I'm back.

As for the puzzle, I used the number on the side and counted that many letters to find just one letter.
r
u
g
h
n
e
m
l
v
c
m
i

Yeah, so I'm not the greatest at solving puzzles, but I think maybe instead of like a cryptic, it's a word scramble. Anyway, that's just my theory, I'll see if I can make sense of any of these letters.

This is all conjecture:

Taking this line by line...

Former prompt scum (6)

A former prompt "scum" is good, it will help us find scum.

Scum starts in red gown (3)

If "scum" starts a prompt, it's bad. Red Gown was a red herring in The Matrix.

Incognito forged without 100 scum (13)

This prompt ends with scum, so it's important. R

Absconded with restorative mixed with five scum (13)

T

Mr. Turner's scrap confused son and the king's daughter scum (17)

A

Scum returning small guitar restrained by unfinished guideline (6)
Scum immersing in house cooler (6)

Allow me, scum (3)

L

25th anniversary of beheaded ruler scum (9)

I

Drink back above metal ending scum (8)

A

Scum inside a purse (4)
Scum juggling balls, one absent large. (10)

rurtariliaml counting spaces and inward from the left

RTALIA sounds like MAFIA retaliate australia fart alia

nothing there? dunno.

Scum starts in red gown (3)
In Red Gown = IRG(y)
Incognito forged without 100 scum (13)
Undercover...something minus C
Mr. Turner's scrap confused son and the king's daughter scum (17)
T(h)ed+rag?+ons+princess

I think these are the player names, and there's twelve answers, one for each of us. And they're missing letters?

Jeez, ok, I'll explain it further then. Im 99% sure these are all cryptic clues, and 75% sure they are for our names short one letter. The big tip-off was "Scum starts in red gown." "Starts" is typically a clue to look at the first letters of the next words, so IRG with a missing Y. For "Incognito forged without 100 scum (13)", Incognito is a synonym for Undercover, and undercover monk has 14 letters, one more than the 13 provided, so it's pointing towards my theory being right. Here's another update:

Former prompt scum (6)
lEX+PROD
[former=ex, prompt=prod]
Scum starts in red gown (3)
IRGy
Incognito forged without 100 scum (13)
UNDERCOVER(monk?)
Absconded with restorative mixed with five scum (13)
ESCAPED (conVict)
[escaped convict is the only 14 letter name left, absconded=escaped, five=V?]
Mr. Turner's scrap confused son and the king's daughter scum (17)
ThED+RAG+ONS+PRINCESS
[Ted Turner is a media mogul, first Turner I thought of after Tina, scrap is a rag, 'confused' son is ONS, and the king's daughter is princess.]
Allow me, scum (3)
[has to be loki for letters]
25th anniversary of beheaded ruler scum (9)
SILVER+(star)
[the 25th wedding anniversarry is the silver one]
Drink back above metal ending scum (8)
(pois)+ON+IUM
[poisonium is the only player name at 9, above=on, IUM is a common ending to metal names]
Scum inside a purse (4)
wALLE
[wall-e is the only 5 name left, a purse is a wallet, the insides are ALLE]
Scum juggling balls, one absent large. (10)
SABLL+I+(mina)+L
[balls scrambled is sabll, one is I in roman numerals, large abbreviated is L]

The last two have are:

Scum returning small guitar restrained by unfinished guideline (6)
Scum immersing in house cooler (6)

for raekuul and sniklac, but I don't know which one goes where. Also I dunno what to do once we solve them all, best guess is to anagram the letters left out. So far we have LYHW for sure.

Sorry if I'm solving this so fast that I appear scummy. Hopefully you can see now where I was getting my answers from, or at least, I'll stay alive long enough to solve the puzzle and get the hint. And you were complaining about the Loki nightkill slowing the game...grumble grumble cranky OMGUS mumble.

Maybe we're up a tree with this left-out letters thing. Three of the clues don't make sense: Undercover Monk's, sniklac's (because AC immersed in sink would be SINKLAC) and Silverstar's.

Someone go over this again and help me find what I've missed. I feel like I'm missing something with all three of Monks, silver's and Snklac's clues.[/b][/quote]

Incognito forged without 100 scum (13)
UNDERCOVER(monk?)
Without 100 makes me think it's a word without C, so CONK or MOCK, and I think MOCK is supposed to be the forged synonym, missing the N.

25th anniversary of beheaded ruler scum (9)
SILVER+(star)
Beheaded is commonly a hint for taking off the first letter...so csar or tsar would work for a ruler, leaving T or S left out.

As for Sinklac/Sniklac, I dunno, it does seem to be hinting at SINK(L)AC.
