I think the shortcuts to the "last page" of a topic are a great timesaver, but wouldn't it be even better if clicking the topic itself would take you to the "last page," then maybe the icon that is currently the last page shortcut could link to the first page.

It could open a new browser window and go to both pages. Or all the pages for that matter.

What would be great is having the "subject" of the thread available without having to go back and forwards. How about having the first (or current, see Thomas Swift) post in a thread be at the top?

We can all wish.

I listed this idea before. There didn't seem to be much support for it, so I never did it. It would actually be pretty simple to do.

Mentat, don't you have window TITLES? No need to go Home and 12 PgDns now, is it?
HTF, how can you be so sure as to what mny GLers want? Hve they explicitly said "i don't want that!"? I am for last page destintion too.

I just post ideas and see what people think. If it seems there is some interest, I give it a whirl... if not... I don't.

It's a hit and miss system.
