You don't get to draw a card from me. Did you think I didn't consider it? Enthusiastic Grin

Yes, sorry, but the total of cards in Zag's hand is not greater than 9. You do however get to see the contents of his hand (and thus know the one face-down card for Zag).

Courk's turn again.

Reminder at top of page:
Code:
Crystal Ball
------------
card (Zag)
-1 Eye (Courk)

Tarot Cards
-----------
3 Eye (Zag)
1 Eye (Scurra)

Knucklebones
------------
nothing

Triple Veils
------------
3 Eye (Dented Ford)

Gaudy Bracelets
---------------
card (Scurra)
-1 Eye (Dented Ford)

Code:
Eye
-2 Look at all of the face-down cards attached to one Possession.
-1 Look at one face-down card attached to a Possession.  You may flip it face-up and play its Action.
1  Look at a face-down Possession.  You may flip it face-up.
2  Look at an opponent's hand.  If that player has a single greatest valued suit, You may take a card from that suit.
3  Look at an opponent's hand.  If the total value of cards is greater than 9, you may take one.

Tooth
-2 Switch two cards other than this that are attached to Possessions.  (Do not flip them.)
-1 Attach another card from your hand face-down to any Possession.
1  You may play this face-up as a Possession, replacing a Possession in play.  All cards attached to that are now attached to this instead.  You may not look at the replaced Possession before it is discarded. (This has no Action when attached to a Possession.)
2  If this is in your hand at the end of the game, your -2 cards are regarded instead as having a value of 2. (This has no Action when played face-up.)
3  Choose a Possession.  Reattach any amount of its cards to other Possessions.  (Do not flip them.)

Claw
-2 Flip all cards attached to one Possession face-down.  Shuffle them.  (They remain attached.)
-1 Give an opponent any other face-up card attached to a Possession.  (The chosen card can not be this or any duplicate of this.)
1  Give one of your cards to an opponent.
2  Take a face-down card attached to any Possession.
3  You may play this face-up, but not attached to any Possession.  It is a new Possession worth its face-value.

Well duh! That will teach me to read the rules and info properly and/or actually consider the value of a (new, complete) hand rather than vaguely remembering it said 15 somewhere on the page and assuming that had to do with a hand's value.

[Edit - deleted out of turn play]
Whoops - it's not even my turn. Although the title said (Dented Ford) when I looked just now, and I was surprised. Now the title says (Courk)
Are you sure people aren't just messing with my head?

If you show it or not, it wasn't going to affect my action, so I figured I should go ahead and play.

Can I wait until Courk tell us if she is revealing the Veils? (Even though I'm pretty sure she won't Extreme Delectation)

There aren't powers associated with the possessions, are there? I'm having trouble understanding why anyone would want to reveal one after looking at it.

It depends on what cards are in other player's hands. For instance, if you find out that someone is about to win a card, but you want that card, yoiu may want to encourage them to divide their attentions. There are plenty of reasons to make information open. It's the "rattlesnake" principle.

Now it's still early in the game, and it'd be harder to know if you want to reveal anything right now. But you could.

Code:
Crystal Ball

1 Eye (Courk)

Gaudy Bracelets
---------------
card (Scurra)
-1 Eye (Dented Ford)
card (Zag)

I'm showing Scurra the Veils and now it's DF's turn.

I'd like to play the -2 Tooth face-up on the Knucklebones.

I'd then like to switch Zag's face-down card on the Bracelets with his face-down card on the Crystal Ball.

DF may flip the Knucklebones, if he wishes. Courk's turn.

If anyone wants to know what is left in your opponents' hands:
Zag: 11
Scurra: 11
Dented Ford: 12

To clarify, you may look at the cards attached to any possession, not necessarily the one you put the -2 eye on...if you want to put it elsewhere and look at the bracelets...or keep it on the bracelets and look elsewhere, let me know.
