At the time I had left, no one had sent anything, and I really hadn't expected a few days to be an issue. People were discussing strategies...which I thought was interesting.
I think I'll politely withdraw. I've already lost out on a round, and I don't want any concessional actions made on my behalf. Good luck to mith and groza in taking down ref! I eyed the physical board game today in the store...I still think the board itself is unnecessary and the game could have been down without it. I thought that the board was one of the more expensive elements for a game? |

When you say leave them as blanks, do you mean block the spots but nobody gets the influence?
Personally I would recommend removing them entirely. This could give the remaining players an additional round to recover from the sudden change. I also wouldn't be adverse to redoing the last round if Cordy still wants to play, but I'll leave that up to the fellows who got more out of the round. |

If someone jumps in, we need to be given time to change our bids if we want. I haven't thought much about how mine would change, but they were sent on the assumption that we are continuing with three.
Beyond that, don't really care. Don't mind replaying the round if Cordy wants back in, don't mind playing with three to see how differently it plays, don't mind whether Cordy's cubes are left or removed. |

(Psst. Grz. It's a 25 point advantage. It would be a 50 point swing if one of us were in control of the Market and the other took control; currently, neither of us control the Market.
Were I ref, I'd certainly be considering swapping in one of my bits to the Market to take temporary control of it. I'd also consider swapping my currently useless Tavern bit for one of groza's in the Town Hall or Plantation, though, since groza is sneaky and not to be trusted. Or swapping one of mith's bits in the Market with a groza bit in the Town Hall or Plantation, but that makes the Market situation messy.
Really, I'm not sure which I *want* him to do. If he can control the Plantation, Harbor, and Town Hall, he's probably going to win unless I control everything else, which is quite unlikely. On the other hand, I don't mind you two fighting...) |
