Knockout (Results!)

For this game, you must place a brick and shoot a gun.

The game will be played in a 1000 by 1000 unit arena. The bottom left corner is at 0,0 and the upper right corner is at 1000,1000.

Your brick can be placed anywhere and have any size. Specify two coordinates to define your brick. (All rectangles will be parallel to the arena walls.)

The gun will be placed along the bottom edge of the rectangle. It can be placed at any spot along this edge and at any angle.
The angle is will be set so that 0 degrees is to the left (so shooting 23 degree will hit the left wall), 90 degrees is straight up, and 180 is to the right wall. [if this is somehow confusing, specify somewhere from 0 to 90 and the direction the gun is pointing]

The gun will shoot through all the brick their path and expire upon hitting the arena wall. If you set things up poorly, your gun will shoot your brick!

All bricks that didn't get hit will score their area. All hit bricks will get 0.

So the goal is to place the largest brick that also won't be shot down.

Gun: 50 at 100 deg [close to the left edge and shooting just to the right]

Ahhhh, so the gun's on the bottom of the whole playing area. I thought you meant the bottom wall of your brick, which would make it hard to win

hm, I guess my shot didn't hit very many...sadness. But wait, what yonder winnings did I accomplish? Woot and woot again, I say. Though, I do feel a bit like I had so much more potential, say, 186 thou worth.
