Quizsheep:
Submit answers to me for the following questions. THe more common your answer is, the higher you score. Your goal is to come up with the answers you think will be the most commonly thought of across all players.
Send, by PM to me, in the following format:
a, b, c, d, e
f, g, h, i, j
k, l, m, n, o
etc
A new line for each question please. Dont precede each line with the question or numbers. Thanks. THis will help with the WordX-Calculator tool.
-----------------
01. Name five popular fillings for a sandwich.
02. Name five items associated with Christmas day, or the period leading up to it.
03. Name five living creatures that live predominantly or totally in the ocean.
04. Name five inventions that changed the world in a dramatic way.
05. Name five well known board games that a family could play together.
06. Name five celebrities whose unexpected death in the last 100 years shook, changed, or affected the world.
07. Name five boys names that could, in theory, be in the top five baby boy's names for 2010.
08. Name five famous explorers or adventurers, real or fictional.
09. Name five common fruit trees, generic names will suffice.
10. Name five countries with at least one star on their official flag.
11. Excluding Christmas, name five celebrations that could occur during the year.
12. Name five items of clothing or footwear worn on or below the waist beginning with the letter S.
13. Name five bones of the human body.
14. Name five influential science fiction characters, from books, movies or elsewhere.
15. Name five things that could explode, causing damage, pain, death, destruction or other adverse side-effects.
-----------------
I will correct spelling, but that's all. An answer of "Brad Pitt" will differ from "B. Pitt", "Pitt" and "Mr. Pitt". "Bread Pitt" will be corrected provided it is obvious what you meant. Alternate, but other correct spellings are considered different. Plurals ARE different. It is my advice that you do not use plurals, but that is up to you.
Please don't use punctuation characters in your submissions, as I have to strip these all out afterwards. Any dashes or hyphens will be replaced by a single space even if not grammatically correct. Pretty much any others will just be removed.
I excluded Christmas on question 11 because of question 2. I tried to make the questions quite varied.

| He was just showing the format. Alphabetical order really won't matter the way he is doing things. |

Yes, "A cat" and "Cat" are different. I highly recommend the latter as a good style of writing.

Results are here: http://www.glpics.com/amb/AmbSheep/SheepQS.php?name=HHH&color=CADCFF
Let me know of spelling mistakes I missed.
It was really interesting, despite trying to have everyone send in singulars as plurals would be different, how many people send in plurals anyway.
I will do another link in a few days combining all the plurals to see what that does. Just as a curiousity. |

2) Name Five Items Associated With Christmas Day, Or The Period Leading Up To It.:
| Code: |
| Jesus: 02 [--- DDF --- --- LXP --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ] |
I won't say I'm astonished that Jesus didn't figure that near the top, but I am surprised that it was so close to being a black sheep.
Thanks Amb. It's interesting that results seemed to be much closer generally than most sheep games, but big congrats to the clear winnner, HH |

You guys are so ethnocentric. Matthew, John, James and William scored, but not Juan or Pedro. And you'll celebrate Ramadan and Halloween, but not Cinco de Mayo or St. Patrick's Day (or Passover or Kwanzaa). What do people drink on those last two anyway?
Congrats to Hitchhiker who won in spite of ringing up four black sheep on the scifi character one. Perhaps she should have named a famous hitchhiker. |

UM, you robbed yourself - of about 45 points on the fruit question.
My favourite answers were Terrorist for the exploding things, and Grapes for what grows on trees. Bananas do grow on 'Banana Trees' even if technically they arent trees. Grapes however....
I was amazed Mohammed didnt get more replies. The most common boys name of all. |
