I'm not sure if I'll have much access during the weekend, but I'll start another (since I so awesomely solved jesternl's). I'm using the Tahnan variation whereby someone else needs to provide an answer for the stumpers that stump me.

The letter is B, and the forbidden category is Sports outside of North America, nopt that I was ever any good at sports in North America.

William Jennings Bryan. The use of the verb "Have" instead of "Did" suggests rm was thinking of another answer, but WJB lost at least 3 times.

OK. Now that I typed that, I looked it up. He was. Though Brynner was considered to be the star, Bronson was also one of the seven. I think you have to give him that one, rm.

But no. My whole point is that the question was improper, since the correct answer is "The One Ring." Although the highlight is on Frodo's path most of the way, it actually starts on Bilbo's, diverts briefly to Sam's, and finishes on Gollum's a fair bit before the end, but Frodo's continues to the end.

Wikipedia claims percussions among Robert Plant's instruments (though it does not specify whether with Zeppelin or in his solo career). However, as far as I can tell, no Robert Blant is associated with the band.
