Here are those pictures again, beside those who donated them.

Dented Ford

Jack_Ian

milkshake

Quailman

Undercover Monk

3iff

Zag

Courk

Me

And the votes:
Dented Ford
1) Harrison Solo
Quailman
5) the Kittens.
3iff
3) There are 2 other pictures that might be the candidate but it's too hard to decide.
Zag
8) Since I'm just getting over H1N1 virus.
Jack_Ian
7) The Swans
PuzzleScot
6) He "guesses"...
milkshake
2) No reason.
Undercover Monk
1) I gotta go with Han Solo pic #1 please
Courk
8) ?

Thank you 3iff, both for voting for me and also being the only one who voted for me. As a couple others with equally demented minds surmised, I wouldn't have sent a topic of "I Love You" if I was using a picture that was a simple declaration of love. Kitties always bring their kills to their masters as a sign of affection. There's no greater "I Love You" than a freshly killed rabbit, mouse, or bird. Isn't that sweet?

Han Solo (milkshake): 2
Virus (3iff): 2
Kitten Heart (Dented Ford): 1
Swans (Quailman): 1
Pupil (Courk): 1
Gerard Butler (Jack_Ian): 1
(and 3 for me and 3iff and the Dalai Lama)

Jack_Ian: 5
milkshake: 5
3iff: 5
Cordelia: 5
Dalai Lama: 3
Dented_Ford: 2
Zag: 1
Quailman: 1
Courk: 1
Also playing: Undercover Monk

I will add that the scores aren't quite "fair" until everyone has a go at the hunt. That said, Jack_Ian and 3iff are far in the lead (congrats to them for being so perceptive).

Hooray. After a miserable first round I seem to have got hold of how devious this game really is...which means I'll get zero next time!

I agree too that everyone will have to be huntmaster to make it fair. I'll go after the next the Monk.

sorry this took so long. I am in the midst of Finals week and very busy. Anyway heres the rundown.

3iff thought it was Quailman’s picture of a chimpanzee, and Cordelia thought it was Puzzlescots cannon rider. However neither got the most votes.

A couple people, milkshake and Jack_Ian, liked Cordy’s awesome sky liquor pic, but still not the winner.

Three of you (Quialman, PuzzleScot, and Dented Ford) liked the little green guy and that picture was………MINE!

Quailman: 4
PuzzleScot: 4
UM: 3
Dented Ford: 3
Cordelia: 2

Totals so far:

Cordelia: 7
Quailman: 5
Dented Ford: 5
Jack_Ian: 5
milkshake: 5
3iff: 5
PuzzleScot: 4
Undercover Monk: 3
Dalai Lama: 3
Zag: 1
Courk: 1

Just so you know I would have voted for #6 the toy soldiers! I thought that one was funny. Sorry again for the delay.

My chimpanzee is Ham, who was one of our first astronauts.

I had no idea why the little green guy made sense, and I still don't. Confused

Ditto on the green guy. I can't understand what the link might be. Is the idea to pick a non-matching picture?? There surely should be a link, however tenuous...

The toy soldiers was mine...pity no-one picked it.

Ok, speeding on. I'm running the next round.

The phrase, keeping it seasonal... Secret Santa.

I'd like all entries to be in quickly so we can get this round over before the holiday break. If you can get your pictures to me in the next couple of days I can get this prepared for mid-day Friday (UK time). The voting can be completed by early next week.

Rules clarification. Does the round setter get 3pts for EVERY time their picture is picked...or just 3pts if it's picked.

If the former...then UM should get 3pts for the last round not 9pts. ???

UM is only supposed to get 3 points.

The goal is to get just one person to get yours. Fewer, and you suffer. More, and you're giving away free points for people who get your picture.

So be sneaky, but not too sneaky.

I have a few entries but I suspect that this round will run into the new year.

I have 3 entries of the possibly 9 people participating. So, if possible I'd appreciate more pictures today but I'll wait if really necessary.

I have 5 pictures plus mine. I'll publish what I have tomorrow or Thursday and votes will be counted when I return to work in the new year...no internet access for me until then.

So, if you want to submit a picture, DO IT NOW.

And those are the 7 pictures submitted. You have a week to submit your choice...but if you can get them in by Friday so much the better. I have an extended weekend so won't be around Monday or Tuesday.

Seems like pictures 2 and 4 are misbehaving. The URLs work ok so you may have to manually visit the sites. Tried both [url] and [img] and neither work. If there's a forum wizard who knows how to fix it....?

I did have a problem seeing a picture from an earlier round and it was my personal firewall/site blocker that was the problem. All the pictures were visible to me yesterday and if you can't see one it's likely to be your computer...

BUT, I can easily PM you a picture if you can't get access, just ask.

We interrupt this program to bring you an important announcement...

I know this round isn't over yet, but since I'm taking the next round, I'd like to keep things moving along by offering you the chance to submit your next picture early.

The next topic will be It hurts when I do this!.
I will post this topic again when it's officially my turn, so feel free to ignore this post if you wish.

And now we return to our regular programming...

I have 6 guesses so far. I'm now away from the computer until Wednesday so I'll expect other guesses to arrive by then, and I'll likely be publishing results during Wednesday (UK time).
