The letter is I.

The rules are here. If I am stumped, someone else must answer your stumper within 72 hours for you to earn a general. The forbidden category is European Sports.

The word "here" doesn't link to anything.

Methinks you have an unfair advantage over the other players, not telling them the rules. :U

Also, are you a god whose two-letter name is shared by a moon of Jupiter?

When answering stumpers, I suggest you give the name of the person whose stumper you're answering, or some significant word from the question.

I never saw the movie (Me, Myself & Irene) but I know he was in it. The only other character who comes to mind was named Ventura.

Correct answer, wrong reason. Haven't watched the episode yet, but he has connections to Ithaca College, and visited here a few times last year Revenge most foul!

I know that this is a character from Piers Anthony' Xanth books. A couple of stray neurons are blinking the name Irene, though that might easily be my first indication of Alzheimer's.

Edit: By "first," of course, I mean the first one that I remember.

*sorry. This is a pointless jokey reference. If you know what it refers to, then good for you. If you don't, then it'd take far, far too long to explain.
