FYI, I was thinking of "Iago," though it occurred to me later that "Igor" also successfully answered my stumper |

Hooray...After 'nearly' getting Mr Birdseye in the last game...I manage a success this time.
Wonder if I have time before the break to get another one going??? |

That crime related question misled most of us, but not you .
Well done 3iff ! |
Until 3iff's general, I thought this might go totally down the wrong road. And when I started it, I thought of the possibility that someone would come up with Lance Ito early on, simply because there aren't that many famous I people.

| @Quailman - should you not have responded "Yes, I am Lance Ito" to put it to bed? |
I could have done that, But generals are Yes/No, and 3iff might have been thinking of another judge with whom I am not familiar, so I left it for him to say. |

| My answer was Robert G. Ingersoll, but there may be others. |

He fails the first General - "Is he alive?"
But yes, I'm sure there are others - as famous as Boticelli though? |

| He meant the answer to his stumper "Are you a 19th century politician who was also a prominent atheist?" |

Since we allow Internet research for the Generals, I think that this restriction is no longer necessary. |

| We've had some dubiously-better-known-than-Botticelli people (I'll concede that my Guy Laliberte might have been such), but I haven't done any internet research. I'm too worried about crossing over into stumper research. What about the rest of y'all? |

| Oh, just to confirm, yes I was thinking of Lance Ito. I had to carefully write the General to get a useful answer although there was the possibility of another person fitting the conditions (no idea who that might be!). |
