I think I've asked my two generals, although one of them ("...America...?") doesn't appear in the latest update.

Orion's enemies include Scorpio.

Are you Shakespeare's most famous Jew?

Sorry Lepton*, it got away from me...It's not easy checking all the posts and getting all the info in one place.

Zag: Did you play the character that the title character of this famous movie calls out for near the end, when he is almost completely (or perhaps completely) blinded?

(How's THAT for a confusingly-worded question? I'll break it down:

A famous movie.
Near the end of the movie, the title character is blinded, or nearly so.
While in this state, he calls out for another character.
Who played that other character?
)

Come on, guys! Think harder. I'll guarantee 95% of you know the answer to this. (I originally had "you all know" but possibly there's one person who doesn't. I doubt it, but possibly.)

Stumper: Are you a cartoon character whose full name includes your species, your shape, and your only piece of clothing? Extreme Delectation

No, but you're thinking in the right direction. I think it's been two days, and I've already given enough hints, so I'll just tell the answer. I'll leave it as a puzzle (which should be pretty easy) to work out the movie I am thinking of: Talia Shire

(I really considered the Spongebob question to be a gimme, but I'm glad to take the general.)

Milkshake*: Did you write the music for a 20th century ballet? Shostakovic (If that's right I WILL be surprised!)

Actually maybe I should have been more specific because, sure, Shostakovich is 20th century and definitely wrote a ballet or two! (I was just thinking of Stravinsky Rite of Spring. Revenge most foul! ) Good work. Revenge most foul!

A lot of overnight stuff...

Puzzlescot: Did you work alongside Florence Nightingale during the Crimean war? Seacole (can't remember her first name. Jenny?)

Zag. Sometimes stumper questions are too clever for their own good...
As for Spongebob, that's something that passed me by...(fortunately!)
General: Did you die of natural causes? YES

Lepton*:
General: Was your singing career primarily in the genres of rock or pop? NO
Did you give your name -- with an acoustic suffix -- to the popular musical instrument you invented? (there are two possible answers) Suza/Suzaphone (was going to say Saxaphone but I think my new answer is better)

Lexprod: Are you referred to as a "Putty Tat?" Sylvester the cat, said by Tweety Pie.

Zag: I've never seen Rocky either. Any of them. By choice. (seen Casablanca though and I know the name of the pianist.)

Quailman: Enough with the Good Morning America questions. Being in the UK, it's impossible for me to even see this program.
Did you replace Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America? No idea.

Zag: Are you backed up by the E Street Band? Bruce Springsteen

Milkshake: Shostakovich was a guess as he was the only name I could think of. As I said, I was surprised it was a right answer.

Lost track of who has a general but I think Quailman is owed one.
Just shout if I've overlooked something.

Due to an xmas lunch scheduled today, I'll be around for another 3.5 hours from this post.

Did you work alongside Florence Nightingale during the Crimean war?

I just looked her up on Wiki - thought I'd share my findings summarily:

Actually, she didn't work with Ms Nightingale at all! She volunteered to be part of Nightingale's expeditionary force to Turkey (Scutari, where Crimean injured were evacuated to), but her offer was turned down.

She then funded her own trip to Scutari, met Florence there, but again her offer of assistance was refused! (There are implications of racism in records).
So she travelled to Crimea itself and set up her own hospital in the warzone.

The pair didn't get on, and probably never spoke or met other than on the one meeting in Scutari..
