I've been tooling about with the mechanics so far and I think it could work out to be something good. The challenges will be mostly single-submission and the decisions made by 'The Kings' will be mostly arbitrary (of course some twists may lie around the corner).

THIS GAME WILL INCREASE BY ONE PLAYER EVERY ROUND. With one exception to the first (Sorry Cordelia Revenge most foul! )

To start, the first two players to join will each be crowned 'The King'. They will have a good deal of control over their team in the hopes that they grow. Once both Kings have been crowned, they start playing by a round by round format.

Both teams will each participate in challenges occasionally given the chance to make sacrifices to their challenge or their team's points, the sacrifices to their challenges being worth points, and the sacrifices to their team's points being worth an advantage in the challenge.

Challenges may require participation from every player on the team.

AFTER each challenge taking place post-original crowning, the team who acquired the most points at the challenge will receive a new member of the team (the first person to join the game after the win).

ALSO after each challenge, each current KING will be in charge of allocating the points won in whatever amounts they wish to themselves or to another player on their team. Once a person on the team is awarded points they are theirs and theirs alone. And may donate the points to another player on their team at any point they are still in the game, if they are ever booted, all the points will be lost from the team.

WHICH leads me to this little aspect in the game in which a player may submit to me the word FORFEIT. Once that action has taken place, the opposing team will be awarded the win and the additional player. (If both teams did so, they both will be under the penalty) The team who forfeited will then be sent into a voting round in which each player votes for any player on their team besides themselves and the person with the most votes will be booted from the team. The King of the team will settle ties.

At a random point in the game pre-determined, the team with the least amount of points will be wiped out and the remaining team will dissolve into a group of individuals where they will compete in one last challenge (a risk vs. reward deal) and the person with the most points at the end will win the game and be declared the final KING.

The game ends when that final king is crowned or when players get bored and drift away. Enthusiastic Grin In which a new idea will be posted, muahahaha.

ROUND ONE: The coronation.

First two people to join will be crowned king, first person will receive 2 points for their team and the next will receive 1 point. Yes, it is bias, how did you know? Enthusiastic Grin

MNOWAX AND UNDERCOVER MONK HAVE BEEN CROWNED KING! LONG LIVE THEIR RULE ON THEIR TEAM! Unless their team should oust them. Revenge most foul!

As such from this point on MNOWAX shall be in charge of deciding who on his team gets what share of the total points awarded, break ties in case of a vote, make a number of chief decisions for his group, and choose a successor in the event of his dismissal. The same for Undercover Monk.

Current Standings:
Team Undercover Monk: 2 points
Undercover Monk-K
Team MNOWAX: 1 point
MNOWAX-K

Onto the next challenge for both teams!

ROUND TWO: Riches

Each of you inheriting this throne have come upon some riches in your domain, each of a varying point value. Some seem to be still up for grabs, in total there is...

Riches:
1. Sceptre - 4 points
2. Livestock - 4 points
3. Loyal Subjects - 3 points
4. Drawbridge - 3 points
5. Dining Table - 2 points
6. Goblet - 2 points
7. Jewels - 1 point
8. Air - 0 points

The riches you inherit may come back to help you in the future. Wink
Either way this is a challenge of a gamble where you must each post in the thread or PM to me, the numbered list of the five riches you wish to gamble on. Then you will post TWO dicetags that will each go off of the list. The first item you land on being added to your inventory (and thus receiving said points) and the second item you land on being subtracted from your inventory (and thus losing said points).

The person who then receives the most wealth will then add the third player to join the game on their team.

On the INCREDIBLE offchance you earn the same amount, you will both receive a new team-mate. (Another exception to be made, I guess. hehe)

Good luck to the kings.

Submissions to look something like...

My gamble:
1. Item 1
2. Item 2
3. Item 3
4. Item 4
5. Item 5

Code:
[dice]1d5[/dice]
Here's what a dice tag looks like, just in case. Enthusiastic Grin

Im confused will we be adding the items themselves to our inventory or only the points and do we start with any points to begin with.

The points come with the item, the points you start with are the ones you have. So one diceroll adds points and an item, and the second subtracts points and an item. (Even if you never had it to begin with Enthusiastic Grin) And the person who earns the most wins the round.

3. Drawbridge
4. Goblet
5. Jewels

Dice Roll:
Original Roll String: 1d5

It seems with that Undercover Monk has gained four points and a sceptre but lost three and his desired loyal subjects. Ah, well such is life. UM earns one point, let us see if MNOWAX will have any better luck with his venture. BraveHat

He didn't say you had to roll a d5. MNOWAX, you should put air as item1 and roll a d5 the first time and a d1 the second time Felicitous

I set up a format, I CLEARLY stated what number of objects should be put up. I don't think there was even a need for a post like this.

And it appears through both gambles, UM gained 4 and lost 3, but MNOWAX gained 2 and lost 4.

Current Standings:
Team Undercover Monk: 3 points
Undercover Monk-K
Team MNOWAX: -1 point
MNOWAX-K

With UM gaining 1 point and MNOWAX gaining, well...-1 point. The next player to join will be joining Team Undercover Monk!

Who will be the next brave soul to join Team Undercover Monk?
