so for another shot of another of my fave reality tv shows. Im looking for at least 8 at most 12.

rules:

1.) each round starts with a HOH competition (usually trivia about the game or other competitors)

2.) the HOH will nominate 2 housemates for eviction.

3.) all competitors will then compete for the golden power of veto. (common labyrinth games like sheep, wipeout, ect.)

4. whoever wins the GPOV MAY remove one and only one of the nominated housemates. The HOH will then choose a replacement nominee

5. A eviction vote will then be taken by the houseguests. Nominated houseguests are not allowed to vote. the HOH votes only in case of a tie

6. Other special comps will be reward comps and take the place of food comps. certain in-game rewards will be up for grabs.

7. By agreeing to play you agree to folow all rules and decisions made by Big Brother (aka me)

Oh well I can work with 6. So lets get started. (if anyone still wants to compete pm before the first eviction)

before we get started a few things you should know:
1. while most of the game play will be done in thread BB is a game of lies and deception. as such pm are not only allowed but encouraged. However I ask that you avoid email and chat outside the labyrinth. Think of the GL forumas as the BB house and the pm system as a closet that you guys use to discuss strategy.
2. Some of the forthcoming games may require you to answer trivia question. As such the usual honor rule of not using the internet to look up answers is in effect.
3. I am Big Brother and as such all my rulings are law. I may change rules or reverse myself at any time. Please repect my rulings, I will try to be as fair as possible and explain all rulings. If you have any questions you may pm me.

HOH competition 1

as usual the first HOH comp is a simple get to know each other exercise. I will dice roll to determine who goes first. when it is your turn you will give us three fun facts about yourself. (they can be anything; no need to be truthful in the BB house) Then you will pick one other competitor who you do not want to be the first HOH. They are eliminated from the competition. However they will then give their three fun facts and pick the next person. This will continue until there is one person left they will be the first HOH. However they will still need to post their fun facts (fair is fair).

The title of Head of Household comes with its own rewards and responsibilities. the HOH is responsible for choosing the nominess as well as breaking any ties on eviction night. They also will recieve a mystery prize via pm since the usual gift basket wont help you much. so thats it houseguests the power is up for grabs. The first houseguest who will not be HOH is....

2. 'Olympic events' - Do you mean specific events that a medal is awarded for? or a category?

7. 'athletes' - do you mean 'Great people in Athletics events' (aka 'track and field' on your side of the pond) or 'sportsmen' in general?

11. Sitcoms. US? or unspecified? (silly question I guess)

14. Many levels of ambiguity. I believe in the US, you have someone dressed in an outfit running amongst 'cheerleaders' (whatever they're for). If so, do we answer 'Fido the Filly Flyer's dog' or just 'dog'.
Or do you mean a name that is in the name of a team? So, if I thought "Glasgow Squirrels", I would say 'squirrel'

All good questions, all of which I can not answer. This is sheep so you are going for what all your other competitors will say. There is no right answer. You could guess "apples" for olympic events. (though I doubt you would get any points). Yet if all of you put ER for sitcoms then you will all get points even though ER is not a sitcom. Thats the best I can do.

1. I'm a music major at a big US university (used to go to a fancyish small conservatory but transferred.)
2. I can recite the entire Tora in Hebrew.
3. I know 100 digits of pi by memory! It's almost pi day and I figure I should memorize more for pi day. If I ever get to like 2000, that will be really impressive.(3.1415926535897932384626433832795028841971693993751058209749445923078164062862089986280342113482560679 )

Thanks for submissions, I am still missing results from milkshake and Sab. since milk needs some extra time anyway, I am going to extend the deadline till Wednesday. at that point I will post the results. But for now I have a few announcements.

Regarding the items, all HoH's will be given one though I will not annouce specifically what each item was. Items may be given or traded. However, for a trade to be sucessful both parties must pm me what they are trading and with whom.

...and speaking of HoH. It is time to start thinking of nominations. MNOWAX as soon as I post the sheep results you can post your nominations. Im going to set a tentitive deadline of Friday for nominations but the sooner I get sheep, the sooner you can nominate, the sooner I can post the Veto competition, the sooner we can evict.

Sheep Results

after several hours of work (I understand why Amb doesn't do these more often) I have tabulated the resuts for our first luxury competition. I did not recieve submissions from Sab or TGC so there were 5 contenders. In 5th place with a total of 126 points...MNOWAX. In 4th with 133...Puzzle Scot. In 3rd with 138 points...raekuul.

That leaves Lexprod and newcomer milkshake. In second place with 166 points...................Lexprod

That means with 177 points milkshake has won the Hypno Ring. before any eviction you may choose one houseguest to make your slave and vote for whoever you are voting for. (may only be used once) (all item actions must be sent via pm unless other-wise stated)

I will try to get the spreadsheet up ASAP. Now MNOWAX you have a serious choice to make. please post in thread your 2 nominees for eviction and the reason you chose them. I would like to be able to post the Veto competition by Monday so the sooner the better. Good Luck.

Behind the Scenes

First off Puzzle Scot and sAbLLimINal your life in the big brother house is at stake. Also in case you did not see, milkshake, I did post the full results. They are not as good as Amb's but its the best I could do.

Now on to the Veto Competition. It will be another large submission game. I apologize in advance, I originally had a smaller game planned but it worked better with 6 players. That game will be held next round. Most games will not require the work of sheep but such is life. I will post the rules soon. Good Luck.
