Honesty Quiz - May 2010 - Multiple Choice

No research is allowed after seeing the questions. They must be answered solely with the information currently in your head.
No internet, books or consulting other people...or 'accidentally' seeing information.
One point per correct answer with no penalty for incorrect or unanswered questions. If you don't know an answer, it's worth guessing. I will accept ONLY your first answer list (send to me via PM). Spelling accuracy is not required for person names. You may freely use pen, paper and simple (non-programmable) calculators.

No entry = no points.

Answers provided when entries close. Quizzes usually last for about 3 weeks until entries dry up. I shall warn players a few days before I provide answers.

Each question has 4 choices, A,B,C and D. Choose the option for each question that you think represents the correct answer. Possible answers are listed in alphabetic or ascending order and no consideration has been given to spreading answers equally amongst the 4 options!

Well, I graduated as an Electrical Engineer some 26 years ago, and I haven't yet forgotten everything (pretty dang close, though). On the other hand, even back then I had to count on my fingers when my lab partner (who did all the real work in all the hardware labs) asked for a resistor. (I would do all the software labs. Between us, we were always the first team done, every week.)

Well, I joined a fraternity 35 years ago and amazingly I still remember enought that I think I got one right also. Razz

An interesting image comes to mind - You're in a dark alley at night, and are confronted by a gang of big angry women, and no place to hide... Almost Fonz Cool

I feel somewhat guilty for participating. Between nationality and educational background, odds are stacked in my favour. On the other hand, I checked the answers to two questions (the geography ones), and discovered I am aiming for a maximum of 8/10. A decade ago, I could pass for a bipedal world alas, so now I'm also feeling old and forgetful. I blame 3iff for ruining my evening Razz .

Sorry for ruining Termital's evening, especially as he didn't get 8/10.
But if anyone does get a good score then congrats to them. No-one should feel guilty for being clever (I don't!! Laughing )

Just a reminder that I'd appreciate some player-set questions...I've had about 4 so far and will probably start using them as from June.

Remember that you need to set the question so that about 50% of the entrants can answer it correctly.
