Figure I may as well, while I'm here, post the first of hopefully many posts centered around the new mafia format I have coming up. You see, it's been a general observation that one user in particular has had a good deal (if not the most) of instances where they were mafia. Naturally this has led to an immense attraction of bandwagons, mighty plethoras of fingers (of suspicion), and a general scummy vibe emitted towards all. What is a town to do if that's the only person around?

You guessed it, in the next chapter of mafia we find ourselves in a strange town filled with Ambs, nothing but. Nearly everyone's role is to fulfill their duties as an Amb, however there are different varieties, different tones, different occupations to the single name. Be assured though, it's a town with the highest rate of identity crises. Even more trouble as what lurks within the underbelly of this society is a small group of people who are different, non-conformists, yet determined as ever to root out every single Amb, lookalike and relative. The town is faced to extinguish the dwelling of those different and make the town wholly resolute and at peace with that solitary name. Of course the others find themselves destined for survival and will at any cost make sure the residents of 'Ambarpet' (It's actually a place in Andhra Pradesh, India, look it up!) remain a thing of the past.

One thing is for certain, the future of the town remains ambiguous. (Hey! Let's make a pun mafia!)

and while I normally don't mind two games going at once if the few of us who are here can keep one game going at a time we may get some new blood and start having more and larger games. So I suggest we let Bond go first, then Amb, which will give me time to get my yet unnamed mafia going.

Also it will be a travesty if said user does not play the game named after him.

I will sign up with the caveat that I will play only one mafia game at a time, so if one of the others gets started ahead of you, you'll either have to wait or go on without me. Since we have a pretty limited population here, it should be easy to coordinate.

If we can get 4 or 5 more people it can be a pretty decent game but if a couple more days pass with no activity we can start. (I may have just scraped the bottom of the barrel as it is, lol.)

It appears that I have been put into a straitjacket. Whoever did this also put me into a room. This room appears to a have a door. This door appears to be locked by a fingerprint scanner. This fingerprint scanner appears to be coded to be unlocked only by my right index finger.

I try to take my straitjacket off, but I can't! I can't, and every time I try, it just gets even tighter.

There appears to be a sign above the door. The sign appears to say "Amb Mafia".

Alright, I know I made a specific deadline and all but I'm going to close signups for now seeing as how there hasn't been that much excitement over the game from non-players as of current, not that many active mafia newbies around (I want to get the two newbies we have up and playing and establishing themselves ) and most of the elders don't seem to want to subject themselves to the game of a true n00b like yours truly.

Replacement spots will always be available in the event that a player is a no-show or lags out consistently. We'll take all shapes, sizes, and colors!

I'll be sending out PMs and starting up the gamethread in the meantime.
