If you enjoy trivia you should jump in on 3iff's monthly honesty quizzes... they are less committal (i.e. you can join at any time). If you act quickly I think you can still submit for August.

To be fair, I think you need to rephrase the football question. There's at least 3 different ways it could be interpreted giving 3 different answers.

100% * (games won) / (games played)

What else? (I can imagine excluding bowl games or not, but without having said so, the default would be not to.)

(... and seriously? You can know the different correct answers for different interpretations without looking up the stats somewhere?)

I wish that question had said "US" somewhere in it. Although the answers imply that it is talking about American Football, it's still slightly sloppy wording.

picky picky

Question 2 what division 1-A U.S. college American Football Team has the highest winning percentage and is listed as a choice and has played a minimum of 500 games

Boise State hasnt played enough to be named top win percentage but it doesnt matter AS THEY ARE NOT A CHOICE. last round during the snake question I didnt get angry messages that coastal taipan was not the most venomous snake. It is actually 2nd or 3rd I think. Its inland cousin has the most potent venom. Nor are any of the choices for largest city area actually the largest. These are multiple choice so choose the highest that are on the lists

and on a related note whenever we Americans discuss football we are constantly criticized about not adding American football to it. Why do we have to call it what the Europeans call it. If we say football we mean the NFL variety. If we want to talk about European Football we will say soccer. It just gets annoying. I am not one of your average American idiots that are completely ignorant of the sport the rest of the world plays and watches with the same amount of vigor we Americans use to follow the NFL. I refereed youth soccer for 8 years. (probably the reason I can no longer stand the sport) So unless otherwise stated if I say football I mean the American Version and If I say Soccer I mean the European version.

Sorry that rant went on a bit more than I meant to. The rest of my family adores soccer and so every time the world cup comes around I have to endure a summer full of speeches by my brothers and dad as to why Soccer outclasses football in every concievable way.

OK results coming shortly

To assume that everyone reading your words knows your context (that is, that you are an American) is very, umm, American of you.

For the cities one, should be assume that the spelling and capitalization errors are just typos, and that the choices are supposed to include Los Angeles and New York?

Re European Football: You have to admit that, of all sports, it clearly has the highest ratio of (excitement level of highlights) / (excitement level of actual games), but you might be in danger of a divide by zero error. Extreme Delectation
