I knew I'd be FOS'd sooner or later. UM, I'd complain more if I hadn't outright said at the beginning of the game that we were bound to lynch a townie on day one. I guess I'm more useful to the scum alive than dead...

Which really puts me in a pickle. Those who are useful to the scum should be lynched so that the scum can't use them; however, my death would also be a step towards a scum win. (Granted, I'd argue that point regardless of my scumminess...) Either way, whatever happens to me is going to benefit the scum at this point... unless we manage to get a scum today.

I said I didn't like using a random vote when I made it, and when I realized that Zag was in the noose I tried to unvote. I'll have to remember that it's not "at next votecount" but "as soon as lynch is reached" here. Ralph probably (but I'm not certain about this) jumped on the votewagon because it was moving, and MNO provided the hammer (why?).

Specifically to UM: I said we'd end up lynching a townie on Day 1. Distancing, yes, but I also thought it'd be enough to prevent lynch. [meta] I don't check the GL as frequently as I did three years ago, so a lot will happen between my posts. [/meta]

It's my fault. no one should be blamed for Zag swinging but me. I didn't think i was the hammer, i thought we were going to put him at L-1.

MNO: Then why not at least make it sound like you wanted more info out of zag with your vote? Plus, there was a vote count just one day before your vote, so I am assuming you are either scum, or don't bother reading posts before making your own. I'm going to FOS: MNOWAX formally now, but a vote's not far away if nothing else comes up as fishy as your hammer.

I can hear the singing rhythmic atonal recitation of "we're going to win"... Oh, wait, I left the movie playing...

All joking aside, I've got two arguments to make here that seem to contradict each other.

ON THE ONE HAND: Me, MNOWAX, and Ralph all put Zag in the noose. Me and MNO both claimed to be townies, leaving Ralph the only one not to claim one way or another. I voted before Ralph did, MNO after.

ON THE OTHER HAND: My instinct tells me that the scum has been letting us destroy ourselves with this infighting and back-and-forth arguing, allowing them to just hide among the other wallflowers while the loudest of us derail the game into one long "NO U".

ON THE THIRD, BIOLOGICALLY IMPOSSIBLE HAND: Why is Lex leading us?

This is going to look like I'm pointing fingers in response to having fingers pointed at me, but I do not like that we are letting Lex lead us. We're probably not in possession of a cop (If we do have a cop: do NOT claim unless you get at least one confirmed Mafia), which means we're working entirely by deduction at this point. Undercover Monk has been a little too eager to start putting me in the noose than most would like, especially with the possibility that we had a 7(2) starting setup.

If UM is not mafia and there really are two mafia, then I'm as good as dead. What I'm afraid of is that the case may well be exactly that.

I admit post 95 does come off as asking for an mnowax lynch, but I meant to pose it as more of a "I'd be voting him now if I could, what is everyone's thoughts?"

@Undercovermonk. Did you answer this in your post: UM, at post 80 you commented on the weird post by raekuul, and Zag was at L-1. It had been a few days since you voted for him, were you hoping to hear something more from zag, or did you hope for him to just swing at that point?

and Raekuul I am jumping around to find tells. Twice the scum have made mistakes because of my jumping. Lex and UM are the scum pair no doubt about it anymore. UM thought i would jump on when he voted for someone on day two, because that's all i did on day one, so the scum could squeeze hammer and win.

When I pointed it out, Lex had the alternate plan of getting me to swing because, look at me, I could be easily construed as an easy target after lynching the townie Zag. It will all be a matter of who is willing to look at my line of reasoning and lynch the scum that I have found.

I really have no idea who is scum. I am pretty certain Poisonium is town. But beyond that its a crapshoot between Raekuul who I only have a vague uneasieness from his first post of the day. MNOWAX who plain freaks me out right now definately portraying some character. and lexprod who has kinda taken charge of day 2. The safest lynch right now I believe to be MNOWAX as if he is town we lose the least.
