Nope! Although that one would have been fun for a one-word lyrics game.
Hints (in increasing order of spoilerishness):
1: The band was insanely popular in the US around the late 80s - early 90s, and is still touring and putting out records.
2: This song plays in the background in a movie scene starring Shannon Elizabeth.
3: No, not THAT Shannon Elizabeth movie, though it's in the same genre.
4: The band is named after its lead singer.
Word from another (perhaps more well-known) song from the same artist: Prayer _________________ "I have an everyday religion that works for me: love yourself first, and everything else falls into line." --Lucille Ball |

Ooh, your spoilers and the second word gave it away
Respirator is in "Bad Medicine"- Bon Jovi and the second word is from "Livin' On A Prayer" by the same artist
Mine is still open until I can think of another word |

If he has a song with that word in it, I'm not aware of it. _________________ Sentran

Clue for FILIBUSTER: song also contains ancestry.
M2: could that be "Help Me Rhondda?" _________________ Sentran

| While I think they are pronounced the same, Rhondda isn't a typo. |

M3: tousle
The funny thing with this one was I was listening to music and making pottery when I heard the word and thought of this game. But then I forgot which song and what word it was. ok it might have been something I was smoking |
