Mackay, my innocence will damn SIlverfire (and to a much lesser extent rm.)

Well, at least it does in my mind. If I had been paying closer attention, I probably would have noticed the "Chaz killed Sentran" link earlier when rm tried it (much more subtly than Silverfire did.)

But, as it stands, without knowing that I'm innocent, I could just be trying to get one extra lynch before I'm killed. If I'm dead then my role is revealed, absolving Snik, and damming Silverfire and rm. If there is a fourth mafia, then it would almost have to be you or Quail.

Though, your point about DP is a good one. He's certainly brilliant enough to pull it off. If you are the fourth mafia (and after your last post, I'm starting to wonder), then you're a lot more brilliant than I've given you credit for. Ecstatic Happiness

The most brilliantly played game (right now) would be if you and I were both mafia (especially in light of Krad intentionally tying us together.) How fucking awesome would that have been? Ecstatic Happiness

Anyway. Lynch me, and you should begin to see how my innocence makes everything more obvious. I am extra curious who mafia will kill tonight though. Honestly, I think it's in town's best interest to just kill me without giving them more info on who they should be killing at night.

Sorry, I'm sure I've just missed this, but how does it absolve Snik if you're innocent? I'm perfectly happy to switch to MNO or someone if it makes sense (but probably not rm. Maybe after I reread).

Not bad logic, but you're forgetting one minor thing. The only reason I unvoted raekuul was because I wanted to put a little pressure on silverfire, and as soon as she talked i switched my vote right back to raekuul. I could of unvoted again when he reached L-1, but i didnt because I knew he was scum and wanted him dead

You're kind of proving Mackay's point buddy...

Mackay:
Quote:
I'm going to go back to vote: raekuul for now, because that's where Zag's vote is, and without Zag being evil there is less evidence against sAb, in my opinion. Also, the speed with which the Snik wagon grew compared to the pulling-teeth effort of trying to get votes on raekuul also worries me a bit. It's reminiscent of trying to get Zag instead of IS lynched in the 10-year anniversary game. =)

That's why not Snik. I think the most suspicious thing about Snik is his buddying up to myself and Zag. Our innocence would absolve him of guilt. (though, admittedly, my guilt would crucify him, I do not worry about that, since I'm town, and all of my motives will be pure when you see that I am, in fact, a townie.) That's why I don't have any suspicion against Snik. He's just a dumb ass. Ecstatic Happiness

One last thing before I die to Mackay...

Think about who has the most from setting Chaz up as a fall guy, and then read the posts again... if you're actually a pro-town, you should see the reason I'm after Silver and rm's throats. Revenge most foul!

You knew he was scum?

(a) Do you know what kind of people *know* who the scum are? That's right.
(b) But more seriously, if you *knew* raekuul was scum, why did you take your vote off him in the first place?
(c) Your reasons for voting raekuul were "Oh well I guess for now ill vote raekuul", and afterward, "But since you actually posted which is what i wanted you to do in the first place Ill go back to my original vote unvote silverfire vote raekuul". You exhibited no suspicion of raekuul. Your voting for him is to be expected for self-preservation purposes, but you are now claiming that you *knew* he was scum, despite switching off him the instant that doing so didn't automatically mean your own death. That isn't knowing someone is scum, that is protecting them. Are you lying? Or were you concealing your reasons from us earlier? Or are you just making up motives for yourself because you've been caught?
(d) Despite being able to tie up the bandwagons at various points, raekuul never voted for you, either.

Happy with my vote.

My above post was to Snik.

@Chaz: the strongest/most vehement case I saw against you was from our cop, not from Silver or rm. The most damning evidence against you all came out of your own mouth. You're going to get nowhere calling me anti-town when I have been confirmed innocent by a confirmed cop, especially if your reason for doing so is that I'm not following your theories (which are like 0/50 now or something). I'm the one trying not to lynch you here. If you're pro-town, you should see why that is a move which is beneficial to the town.

Also, something for everyone else to consider if there is a fourth mafia.(this was directed at Mackay, I think... if not Mackay, then at rm.)

raekuul wrote:
Hmm... Well, let's see here. The reason I haven't been really defending myself is because I came into this with everyone already suspecting me/Krad of being Mafia, and I've been playing the angle of "mafioso that's about to get bussed" pretty much the whole time I've been in. As to my suspicions... I never really was all that suspicious of sAb to begin with, and Snik hasn't really done much of anything to make me worry since he came back in. Chaz, on the other hand, kept pushing for a mass nameclaim. Whether that was to help him tease out the theme of the game or else to legitimately try to corner [ROLE], I don't know. I do not like how he went about it, though. You and Quail have also been fairly vocal, but you've been cleared already and Quail'd probably be voting for Chaz right now too if there wasn't that immunity in the way. I'm actually a little alarmed at how the sAb/Snik wagon formed, though. Can I get some explanations or rationales or whatever?

The way he says "you've been cleared" is pretty telling. (but keep in mind that he knew Zag's claim was real...)

Seriously, Mackay, lynch me and you'll know that my motives are pure. The main reason you're not listening to me is because you think I'm an idiot and that I may well be scum.

If you know I'm innocent, then you'll still think I'm an idiot, but you're wrong about that, and I think, if you dig enough, you'll see that you're wrong and realize just how damn insightful I can be. Razz

Or I'm a paranoid crazy nut, but it's all really the same in my head.

Huh. In retrospect, it could well be that I'm just a paranoid nut.

For example, Zag's last post "dead men don't wear plaid" is what started me wondering if Zag had investigated me and was making a reference to my Halloween costume. Paranoid. Though, if Zag's last investigation was on me, I will be convinced that he was trying to speak from the grave. *nudge*

...what?

If I thought you were scum, I could drop the hammer right now! You're not making any sense - I'm tempted to hammer you anyway just to shut you up Ecstatic Happiness

You've done scummy stuff, for sure, but the signals are far more mixed than those of Sniklac or MNOWAX. We're actually on a similar page about Silverfire, though our priorities fall on different reasons, and I'm coming around about Quailman (his latest was one not-as-thought-out-as-usual vote on a completely-safe-and-obvious bandwagon too many, he's moved from "neutral" to "shady" on the scumdar). Why are you suddenly pushing for a quick lynch? Of YOURSELF?

...are you a mafia traitor? =)

I just previewed, and I can say definitively that if Zag's post had hinted at his investigation/result WHATSOEVER, there is NO WAY Amb would have let it stay. So, yes, you're being a paranoid nut.

I do think MNO would be an excellent lynch as well. He and Snik both seemed to be trying to deflect suspicion from/avoid voting/protect raekuul. Hell, you're probably a fine lynch, it's just that we don't need you dead in order to read your damn conspiracy theories.

I still haven't started rereading. I *didn't* get that about rm, but I remember you saying something about it. I was more curious about his "I'm having trouble writing" or something similar. The breadcrumbs it calls to mind are all shady ones.

Don't be. That would be a violation of the rules and I wouldn't do it. I was just making a reference to the Steve Martin movie title, which is a take-off of the phrase "Dead men tell no tales." I really didn't mean anything more by it.

The reasons I haven't voted for him are (a) the day has only just started, and (b) I think raekuul, our confirmed scum, is more likely to have been linked to Snik than to Chaz.

So let me just make sure I've got this straight. You are arguing that:

- You and Chaz can't possibly both be scum
- Voting for Chaz is a sign that you are innocent (and therefore, Chaz is mafia?)
- If we lynch Chaz and he turns out to be innocent (despite the fact that apparently voting for Chaz *is* a sign of innocence) we are to assume MNO's guilt
- You think I'm stupid (I was the only one voting for you, so...)?

I'd also like you to answer the question I asked you earlier: if you *knew* raekuul was scum, why did you take your vote off him, at considerable danger to yourself?
