I give up. I have mis read this game so bad and after Chaz not being scum, Macaky not being scum, and even my "confirmed scum" was town, I have not a clue.
I'm legitimately next to lynch , and since we are pretty much in LYLO GG scum.

If there are two remaining scum and you are not one of them, you just gave away the game.
I will be unavailable from tomorrow noon (my time) until Monday evening. Should I go ahead and vote or wait see what anyone else wants to speculate about the third scum? I have no idea, but strongly suspect rm at this point. |

I was going to say nice try, but it was pretty weak. If we were both scum I would have voted right behind UM and the game would be over. No townie would be so bold as to put the game on the line like you did. |

MNOWAX lay dead, lynched. A quick search of his body showed a raft of golden tickets. Tickets to his wonderous, but about to be shut down, chocolate factory. MNOWAX, Townie, Willy Wonka was lynched.
ralphmerridew and Silverfire, the Public Enemies mafia, then turned on the survivors and took them each out. They never even needed the town traitor, Jack Sparrow who sat waiting to claim the extra chair.

Well, I'm not entirely sure on Mackay now... I think she'll be dead first if she's not mafia (because they'll need to cast doubt on my theory) Then they'll likely kill DP the second night.
If she is, then they'd be stupid to kill anyone other than DP (though I could see killing MNO as a good target as well.)
Or! I'm completely bat-shit crazy (which I certainly haven't ruled out yet.) =D |

He already said it was Jack Sparrow. I was J M Barrie. MNO was Willy Wonka. The only members who the traitor could possibly have been were You, or Undercover Monk. I assume you're not Jack Sparrow (or you probably would have realized that you were the traitor when you read the post), the only logical choice left is Undercover Monk.
The only thing left to guess at is who Zag investigated that last night. I still bet it was me, and I bet he immediately convinced himself that I was a God-Father when he got back the innocent result. Subsequently, I bet he plays his "moral high ground" card and refuses to say.
Congrats to rm, Silver, and Kraddrol/Raekuul. I would love to see the quick topic for mafia; I want to see if I was right about the Sentran kill being done to frame me.
Finally, thanks and major congrats to amb for a well hosted game. _________________ The enemy's base is down. |

Will the delusions never end? Well, I suppose you are correct, in the sense that you really rocked the game for the mafia. I'm sure they enjoyed it.
No, I did not investigate you. In fact, I was pretty convinced you were town by the time we went to the night that I was killed, only because your idiocy was even stupider as a mafia than it was as a townie. I could see how you could delude yourself that your actions helped the town, where, as a mafia, even YOU, the master of self-delusion, couldn't have deluded yourself that it was helpful; you would just have night-killed the cop without outing him.

By the way, I was remiss in failing to say this: Thanks, Amb, for a good game.

Undercover Monk:
If Zag had investigated UM, UM would have been offered the chance to upgrade to a retired-cop who would unretire on Zag's death.
If the mafia had targetted UM, UM would be given the option of joining the mafia, but if he refused, he would have died (without doc protection)
If both happened on the same night, he'd have gotten the choice of which he wanted. If he picked copness, he'd have died (without doc protection)
Once one of the two options was taken, the other option would no longer occur.
Theme:
Once the theme was successfully stated, the mafia recieved fake claims - set aside. They never used them. One of the fake claims was quite risky.
Chaz: Did call the scum, but not before targetting, outing and eliminating the cop. Allowed the scum to lie low. Wish like anything he had the role of Jack Sparrow now |

Chaz:
Right now I'm leaning toward Sentran as a nightkill choice, for three reasons. He has made a few accurate observations, and on the whole is helping the town with his posts. He has been suspicious of enough townies that if the town does decide to look at the people he suspected, it won't be hard to let suspicion fall on Chaz or Mackay. Lastly, while he is contributing, he's not so vocal that he's likely to get himself lynched.
Also, we were going to change our nightkill target from Mackay to DP, just to stoke town suspicion, but night ended before I could get the message in. |

Hmmm... so I was mostly right? (I hadn't even considered how it might draw attention to Mackay by selecting Sentran.) In any event, it was a great choice of night kill. Kudos.
I still maintain that Zag outed himself. He made it obvious that he thought my theory might be correct (that all townie roles were authors.) I'm certain that rm or Silver would have taken about three seconds to realize that the reason Zag (who's role was obviously "Ichabod Crane" from Sleepy Hollow) was freaking out so much about me outing power roles; I would have figured it out had I been mafia (clearly, since I did figure it out without even knowing for sure who the mafia were.) Plus the post where rm says that some roles fit with a cop theme. post 286 Zag should have dismissed my theory as "impossible" since he knew I couldn't be right, since he was a vanilla townie; that's what I would have done anyway. Instead he went the "jump up and down like an idiot who wants everyone to know why Chaz's theory is wrong" route and outed himself.
Zag killed Zag, so stop blaming Chaz. I just figured the suspicion would instantly fall on me when he got killed that night, so I outed him in the light of day. It was hardly my mess up. Mackay deduced who and what Zag was. I deduced who and what Zag was (and that he had investigated Mackay.) I'm certain it wouldn't have been very hard for mafia to figure it out if both Mackay and I did while we were townies.
So, Zag, who did you investigate that last night (if not me)? I say that you're lying based on what I read in post 540. _________________ The enemy's base is down. |

Put it back on the shelf rm; I'm not buying it. If Mackay and I both figured it out, then it stands to follow that you and Silver would have to have been very dumb to not figure it out when you were mafia. I have to agree that I had MNO on the top of my list also, when I went out. Second on my list was Snik, taking over for sAb. It was more sAb's behavior than Snik's, though, that led me to that conclusion. DP had pointed out something suspicious he had done which made sense to me, though I'm afraid I don't recall what it was, now. In my last night I investigated DP before I was killed. He seemed as good a choice as any, and I wanted to verify that his comment wasn't meant as misleading.
Silverfire was the biggest surprise. I had him (her?) pegged as town. |

Sorry Silver (and rm). I do not buy that you guys are idiots.
@Dopey: I didn't call "everything." I speculated about everything and finally concluded who mafia were. I then realized that my conclusions were based on my innocence, and proceeded to prove that which I could actually prove--that I was a townie.
It is not my fault that the rest of town chose to ignore the evidence when it was piled in neat stacks in front of them. As soon as rae asked "what if I'm not?" I had them. Granted, I thought Quail and then Mackay was with them, but I most definately caled Silverfire, and rm was my second best bet on who was scum.
I even said they'd kill Mackay that night (yes, that was an obvious kill), but I also said they'd off DP the next night--which was hardly obvious.
Mackay was right about one thing, however, I was so obsessed with "being right" that I lost sight of what was best for the game. I literally sacrificed myself for the greater good, but for all the good that did. _________________ The enemy's base is down. |
