Agreed by whom? I still think, because of the meta-gaming issues, that he is not. I don't, however, have any evidence within the game. So I will go along with your set. |

Everyone voted yes except MattV. Motion passes.

... unless, of course, he is playing us.
I assume that the next group will be the same four, plus one more. If that group suddenly votes 4-1, then Chaz will easily be able to say that he added a spy. The person will deny it, and the rest of us will not know for sure.
Or, I suppose, it could be me, or wordy or Sentran doing that. I know that, before the game started, I had a plan to do such a thing if I were a spy. But I'm not, and I didn't.
Anyway, I still think that the best approach is to pick the same four plus one more. Maybe we've legitimately found a group of four non-spies. Whether you are a spy or not, Chaz, I can't see any reason for doing anything else. |

We only need four this round, and there needs to be two spies in the fourth round.
Unless Zag is a spy (which would have been bad play on his part, since he could have failed last round and casted doubt on me), we're good to go.
Team: wordcross, Chaz, Zag, Sentran.
Then we can add Sentran or rm to the mix, and it should pass.
Congrats rebels... we've got this... we've got this by the ass.
I'm sending "yes" to dethy now. _________________ The enemy's base is down. |

And I voted No last time to add to me being a scapegoat. I hope there is a possibility that a spy would vote to pass the mission just to make me look like a spy.
There is the possibility that two people on our set of four are spies. But if that is the case, the resistance is probably screwed. I don't think this is the case. |

My guesses for who has not yet voted are bgg1996, Poisonium, and MatthewV, although that last one could have been ralphmerridew.
bgg and Pois have not posted recently, and MattV seems to not want the game to progress, for SOME reason. _________________ Sentran

5. Zag -- Leader

Zag is the leader, select 5 mission specialists. This round requires a double fail for the spies to win. |

Ah ha! So somebody was a spy in that group, and was voting pass as a trick. You probably should have looked ahead before doing that.

Ok. My theory is that both fail votes are Chaz, and that the spies are UM, Chaz, and either MattV or rm.
The thoughts on Chaz are purely from him posting so early, applying MattV's theory (and my own experience) that people who are innocent would have waited a little longer to see if a PM was still on its way. I'm still torn on whether or this indicates guilt on innocence for MV. I hadn't thought of it, even though I experienced it myself (that is, I saw Chaz had posted, but I waited to post because I hadn't received a PM yet.)
My opinion of UM is because I think that any innocent person would have picked himself. Whereas a spy would want to make sure that there is exactly one spy on the team (to prevent confusion), and very well might not pick himself. He claims that he was trying to put together an all-spy team to get them all to reveal themselves early. Frankly, that's retarded. (Sorry, UM.) He is starting with the ridiculously small chance of guessing right, and then adding the hope that they aren't clever enough about game theory to make the right choices. An innocent person would pick himself and two others he thinks are innocent in order to secure a point.
Chaz, I'm sure, will have a competing theory that I'm scum (though I don't know why he picked me, other than general principles) and either Pois or bgg is also scum. He hasn't spoken out about UM, but his theory is consistent with UM being scum for the same reason I consider him to be.
I'm trying to figure out a setup that will work no matter which theory is correct, since I can afford a single spy on my team and we'll still get a point for the town. I can't quite do that, but this set will guarantee it if my theory is correct, and it will give it a 50% shot if Chaz's theory is correct. I'm going to take the same group as last time, and add one of Pois or bgg. Now, with Chaz's theory, I would just be adding my spy buddy. So I'm going to let the dice roller decide (since I think they are both innocent). Personally, I'd be happier with the team wx, Zag, Sentran, Pois, bgg, but I'm satisfied that either of the following contains only one spy, and I'm hoping this will be easier for others (i.e. Chaz) to agree to.
If this dice command comes up 1, the team is wx, Chaz, Zag, Sentran, Pois
If this dice command comes up 2, the team is wx, Chaz, Zag, Sentran, bgg
| Dice Roll: | Original Roll String: 1d2 1 2-Sided Dice Results: 1 br> |
I'll give you my word that I haven't gimmicked this dice roll in any way. |
