I will give you guys credit. If you hadn't, for whatever reason, neglected to get past our retaining wall, it would have been much more in your favor.
Out of curiosity, and because I can't imagine you were all five that asleep at the wheel, what kept you guys from escaping when you had the chance? _________________ Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like? |

Welcome Survivors to your next Immunity Challenge. MNOWAX was voted out last Tribal Council. This next challenge will require one member of Aidap to sit out.
I have a lot of hardly used trivia games sitting around the house so Im gonna get some use out of them. We will be playing one one one matchups in 4 different trivia categories. Before each round both teams will pm which player will be doing each category. All four must play one per category. Then we will run each matchup whoever wins scores a point for their team. After all players have played you may switch up the order if you like. First team to 5 points wins immunity.
The four categories are (in the order we will play them)
Sort It Out
I will read a question and 5 answers you must sort out the answers in the correct order. For every answer you have right you get a point. For every wrong answer you lose a point. You dont have to put all 5 answers in your pm but you must put at least 2.
For example: Put these numerical values in order from least to greatest (2,9,6,3,1)
If you werent sure of the answer you could pm me
1,2 for two points
If you put
1,2,3,9,6 you would get 3 points for having 123 in the right place but lose 2 for mixing up the 6 and the 9
if you put
2,3,?,?,9 you would receive one point for having the 9 in the right place but lose 2 because 2 and 3 (while in the right order) should be moved over one spot each.
Dirty Minds
This is a great party game. You will receive three clues that sound dirty. Your job is to guess the clean common word they are actually referring to.
For Example;
-a four letter word
-a word for a woman
-ends in U-N-T
The answer is....Aunt
Trivial Pursuit: Pop Culture
You will receive six questions in the categories of Movies, TV, Music, Sports and Games, Buzz(tabloids and press), and Fads.
Fact Or Crap
You will receive a series of weird True or False Questions whoever answers the most right wins the point.
As always in trivia games no outside help is allowed. So get together and decide who will take each game and pm your list. Also Aidap I need to know who is sitting this challenge out
On the line is immunity AND A MAJOR REWARD to be revealed after the challenge. Survivors Go!!! _________________ The Classic Blunders:

I'm not quite clear on the instructions. Do you have to put items in the exact right place, or just relative order? Your examples don't quite cover this. Using your example of (2,9,6,3,1), I see how to use the ? wildcards if there are gaps, but what if I believe 2,3,6 come in that order but am not sure where because I have never heard of 1 or 9? Would an entry of "2,3,6" get 3 points or -3 because they are in the right relative order but I didn't enter "?,2,3,6,?" ? _________________ jbv |

You must get the answers in the exact order not relative.
you must give me 5 answers. so if you put 2,3,6,?,? you would be at -3 points because no answers were in the correct spot. I was trying to show that but realized it was a little coonfusing.
remember send me in the format

Team Aidap (jbvntx):
1.Polo
2.
3.
4.
5.Golf
Team Paladin (Ctorj):
1.
2.
3.
4. lacrosse
5. golf
The actual answer:
1. Tug of war (6 games)
2. polo (5 games)
3. rugby (4 games)
2. lacrosse (3 games)
1. golf (2 games)
so with 2 points to 0 Ctorj wins the round for Paladin

Next up dirty minds with Amb for Paladin and Zag for Aidap
To avoid a tie in this category you may choose between 1-3 clues
if you guess it with one clue you get 3 points
2 clues=2 points
3 clues=1 point
if you still dont guess I will give you each one more clue.
send in how many clues you want. _________________ The Classic Blunders:

If Amb asks for one clue and I ask for two, and neither of us gets the answer, does he then get the second clue (that I already got) while I get a third one? |

I'm not sure how that avoids a tie. Perhaps makes it less likely, but what if they both pick 2 clues and both get it right? Who wins? _________________ Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like? |

I went on Wiki out of curiosity, and they show tug of war as being in five olympics as well. It looks like tug of war is perhaps really tied with polo at five? Tug of war would have been in six but the 1916 olympics were cancelled due to the world war. _________________ jbv |

no the extra clue is a fourth clue that you will both get. If you do tie no one wins the point which is why I had to switch it up a bit. so you tell me how many clues you want. you pm your first guess. if no one is right you get the fourth clue and give me a final guess.
also according to the game card tug of war was featured in the 1900,1904,1906(the first intercollated games no longer recognized as an olympic event but medals were given out look it up on wiki its pretty interesting actually) 1908, 1912, and 1920
They really need to bring back tug of war I would totally watch that. _________________ The Classic Blunders:

We have a winner......
Here were all 3 clues Zag got. Amb recieved only the first
.
-You hang on to my stiff pole when you ride me.
-When you're on me, you're going up and down.
-After you horse around on me, you get off.
Zag's guess: Carousel....That is correct
If Amb gets this right he wins another point for Paladin. If not Zag gets the first point for Aidap
Amb's guess Carousel!!!!!!! with 3-1 Amb scores another point for his tribe
Paladin leads Aidap 2-0 Up next is Trivial pursuit: Pop Culture _________________ The Classic Blunders:

Next up for Aidap is wordcross and his opponent from Paladin is lexprod
survivors here are your questions:
Movies: Who is Chon Wang(Jackie Chan) trying to rescue in Shanghai Noon?
TV: What does Hank Hill sell for a living?
Music: What duo sang Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer?(1 point each)
Sports and games: What famous game did Gary Gygax help invent in the 1970's
Buzz: From what film did actor Michael Cain get his stage name? (for an extra point what is his real name?)
Fad: What '70s therapy movement involved being in a room for 15 hours while people verbally abused you? _________________ The Classic Blunders:

Sweet! I had a list of items to pick from. I basically spent about 20 mins (while watching TV) listing anything that had a pole while you rode. The other answers I considered were Firemans Pole (which was clued less funny than otherwise Id have expected) Bus or Train and something else obscure that I no longer remember. I tried thinking of something rollercoaster-like for ages.
And I only know the answer to 1 of those questions and even then im not 100% |
