It was -- that one was much easier than any of them I've seen on the web. But I still doubt I would have gotten it in 1 clue, anyway, and I would not ever have tried. My choice was between 2 or 3.

I would have done worse, though, in the current contest. Go wordy!

Well done, wordcross! I would have gotten only two, and one was a lucky guess (Caine Mutiny).

Well done, bgg!!

Any desire to change the line-up?

I'll bet that the next Dirty Minds will be harder. If they try for 1 clue again, I bet they fail. There isn't any other game that has a strategy, particularly, as in Dirty Minds where you have to decide in advance how many clues.

I'd like to try dirty minds if *anyone* else thinks they'd do okay at trivial pursuit?

works for me.

and yeah, I would have sucked at the ordering part. I probably would have failed the fact/crap round as well.

I'm pretty sure of 3 of them. Think it's better to go with that or guess at the other two as well and have a 50/50 chance at getting all 5?

It's your call. I was cautious and it hurt us, though I still think caution is better than high risk.

I'd say go with the sure ones. I think 3 points should be enough to beat the other team.

Asked for 2 clues in case it was much harder than last round.

I got the answer right, but I almost wish I'd stuck to one clue. I wouldn't have been as certain of my answer then, though. Dunno if Amb will go with 1 clue or not. He may have trouble if he does.

I'm glad we switched, too. As soon as I saw the Dream Team question was the one with bonus points, I was pretty pleased.

BTW, I would have gotten coconut in one, too, but only because I couldn't think of anything else. I still predict that they will get harder, though.

UM, I think that I'd prefer that, instead of us having to pick the number of clues, you would just send out one clue at a time. Otherwise it forces us to depend on luck, which I'm not as happy with. There are definitely some of these that simply can't be solved with one clue, and there are some, like that one, which are relatively easy. What do you think? (It will make for more ties, though.)

In order to keep that match from slowing down the overall game, you might want to do it in parallel with the other matches. i.e. you send out the first clue to wordy and Amb, and simultaneously post the trivial pursuit questions. Then if neither of them got it, you send out the second clue when you post the Fact or Crap questions. etc.

That actually was my idea originally but I realized ties would be even more common. There is some luck because you have no idea how difficult the question will be but that also forces you to take a risk or play it safe.

but I think I will do two rounds at a time if necesary. after all just two more wins by you guys will win the challenge

I don't feel any need to change our lineup.

Now it makes more sense.

got the dirty minds clue. I only asked for 1, and I'm fairly certain I still got it. I will say that it's possibly a stroke of luck if I did, though.

thx. Well done to you one the dirty minds. I definitely would not have gotten it.

The funny thing is that I almost guessed David Crosby, but I didn't because I didn't think he would have asked the question about what band was he in, when the obvious band is Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. I was kicking myself when I looked it up after sending in my answers.

Well done, jbv!

Any volunteers to head over? We could send Chaz, who has been mostly AWOL. As I post this, I'm still waiting on the answer to my question about whether this is a permanent transfer. If so, I vote Chaz.

It sounded more like one of us gets to pick which of them *can't* get voted off. Maybe I misread.

if no one else wants to, I'll go. I think I get to come back after someone has gone home? I assume that's what it means.

Amb has decided that the merged tribe will post in the Aidap thread feel free to look around and make yourselves at home. The new tribe is Thesius. Welcome to tribal council. Zag has individual immunity which he may keep to himself or give to anyone he chooses. If anyone has found a hidden immunity idol they need to pm me before I read the votes.

Zag how great did it feel to win the first individual immunity challenge? Are you going to keep immunity?

Amb does it feel like you are one merged tribe or is it still Paladin vs. Aidap!

Sentran how did you come up with the new name?

Who believes they are in trouble tonight? Do you think someone has found a hidden immunity idol yet?

send in your votes by Tuesday night at the latest. You may not vote for Zag.
