Game begins on day.
All Roles have been sent by private message. If you have not seen it, or have questions about it please PM me.
Once you have received your role PM, feel free to start playing.
Anyone who publicly states the secret name or premise of the game will be protected from lynching for that day.
There is no set deadline for day one at this point, but I reserve the right to add one at a later date.

RULES (plagiarized from multiple sources):
* Don't quote from your role message in the public forum.
* Don't edit or delete any posts!
* Votes must be in bold, and have the form Vote: Jedo. Adding that you are unvoting (and from whom) is a convenience to me but not required.
* No communication outside the thread unless your role allows you to do so.
* Replacements are not allowed. Those who are no longer able to participate will be removed quietly, game balance will be adjusted behind the scenes, and play will continue.
* After death, you are allowed to make one final post, so long as it does not influence the game.
* Night posting will be allowed, but votes made at night will not be counted.
* Don't be more of a jerk than absolutely necessary.
* Don't take anything personally (outside the game, that is), if someone is being a jerk inside the game. It might be part of his role, after all.
* The mods are always right. In the case that this rule is not correct, please refer to this rule.
* Have fun. That's an order. Felicitous

Why shouldn't I be cryptic? It's as useful as any other strategy on day 1 and gave me a good lead straight off.

We already have
1. Zag (scumily voting me for being cryptic)
2. Raekuul for seconding a no lynch.
3. Ctorj for suggesting it in the third place
4. Amb for thirding it

Unvote; Vote No lynch

Also, why is no lynch a good idea? That puts the numbers in the scums favor.

(corrected math)
I was about to dismiss Lifeinmomland's vote altogether, then I realized I never said you could only vote for one person at a time in the rules. Therefore...

OFFICIAL VOTE COUNT
Zag: 1.09 (Chaz, Lifeinmomland)
Amb: 2.09 (Jedo, Zag, Lifeinmomland)
Ctorj: .09 (Lifeinmomland)
Chaz: .09 (Lifeinmomland)
Jedo: .09 (Lifeinmomland)
raekuul: .09 (Lifeinmomland)
bgg1996: : .09 (Lifeinmomland)
Lucresia: .09 (Lifeinmomland)
MNOWAX: .09 (Lifeinmomland)
Quailman: : .09 (Lifeinmomland)
Undercover Monk: : .09 (Lifeinmomland)
No Lynch: 3 (Ctorj, raekuul, Amb)
Not voting: bgg1996, Lucresia, MNOWAX, Quailman, Undercover Monk

I guess that means it takes anything greater than 6 to lynch.

That's really funny, Sentran. I would counter by saying she should actually be voting for "all of you."

It could easily have been bungled. There was still suspicion of bgg for playstyle, and a no lynch vote/end of day by the modkill would have been super helpful to you.

It does appear so. I've never actually played in a game with one of those. Is it only lynching the Jester which wins the game, or do night kills count also?

Plus, surely nobody would think that is totally serious. I hope everybody here has a modicum of skepticism so as not to jump on that immediately.

Amb, are you going to respond to my query about the mods' learning ability and why no lynch seems good? I know it wasn't specifically directed at you, but it definitely had to do with two things you posted.

Whoa! I skimmed over those two posts since I was late to the game and wanted to get my OMGUS in. WTF! Methinks that rather than being a Jester, MNOWAX and Amb are in cahoots, either as scum or masons, but I don't want to risk lynching MNOWAX on my gut feeling. I don't have a very good track record on day 1.

No Lynch isn't an option I want to consider. This is Mafia. We lynch people. OTOH, I agree with amb that starting on Day sucks. It's been a long time since I've been in one that started on Night.

Not really. I was mostly just being stupid. I was angry at the mod because the mechanics of my role are a bit, well, broken. But for the sake of the game, I will just ignore that. The one thing I can tell you is that there are Jesters who win the game if lynched. I have a role based reason for knowing this. What I don't know is how many (I presume 1) and what conditions they have. Normally a jester wins if lynched, and NOT if killed by any other means. I wasn't expecting them to just come out and say it, but MNO couldn't have screamed it louder.

Well if he is the Jester, then this game probably just got a lot easier for town by knowing who it is. Now again, if this is the case, I am curious as to whether he may be the only Jester given that Amb's supposed role was created or at least some part of your role to know that it exists.

On the other hand, if MNO is not a jester, this whole thing may be a clever scheme between two mafia to keep us from lynching either of them the entire game...

At any point I do not agree with a no lynch because it only brings the town numbers down quicker.

On a more random note, now that some discussion is going I will Unvote since I loved watching Doug as a child Revenge most foul!

I want to run a game where everyone is a jester LOL and whoever is voted first wins. Laughing

anyway I would avoid a MNO or Amb lynch. MNO could be a jester (though I seriously doubt the inclusion of such a stupid role and would actually be quite pissed if it was added.) and Amb because while he is acting oddly he is too valuable for analysis later in the game.

3 to 1 is not bad odds for a mafia. If you could have gotten there without people claiming (and me not giving you a kind of weak safe claim), then you only have to avoid that one more vote and you win.

I think you still had a chance if you had attacked bgg's claim early. It isn't unreasonable that I wouldn't have placed Ender at all, and it looked like there had already been a doc. You only needed to convince one person and get the second vote in there before you had two votes and you would have won the game.

BTW, how many people have noticed that Snik (and raekuul, though he wasn't quite in position to see it) had a guaranteed win if he had thought of it?

Also. Vote: Lucresia because I wasn't serious about Amb. However, I'd totally support a run at Chaz, not only on principle but also because he called for a mass claim. However, I'm waiting in the hopes that he was kidding.
