Anyone interested in a second run through?

Also, I can add in the "plot cards".

At the beginning of each round the leader gets two random "plot cards" that he must then assign to two other people [This is before deciding mission specialists]. Some give a one time use power [Look at a played mission card, veto a vote, become leader]. Others allow you to look at one persons loyalty card [Spy or resistance].

Any takers? Indicate if you want to try it with plot cards as well.

2. MatthewV
3. Antrax
4. bgg1996 Or is he ?

I'm willing to try again.

Do plot cards overall tend to help the resistance, the moles, or are they neutral?

I would be willing to play.
I think plot cards would help the resistance and therefore I support them.

They tend to add information to the group, which tends to help resistance.

Though sometimes the power can help the spies win out of nowhere with vetos and strong leader cards causing 5 fails in a row. Something the resistance has to be aware of.

I read the first game, this actually looks like fun. Count me in. Neutral about plot cards. Suggest disallowing public randomness (die rolls) as I do in every game I mod.

Here's the list of plot cards. The leader gets 2 each round, and gives one to two different players [Not himself].

Strong Leader = 2 [After a mission play to claim leadership]
Take Responsibility = 1 [When given, take another players plot card]
Establish Confidence = 1 [Leader shows their loyalty to one player]
Keeping a close eye on you = 2 [Look at one players played mission card]
No Confidence = 3 [Veto a mission group]
Open Up = 1 [Person GIVEN this card shows their loyalty to one person]
Opinion Maker = 2 [Votes first and in public]
Overheard Conversation = 2 [Look at a loyalty card to your left or right]
In the spotlight = 1 [Play after mission group chosen, but before players attempt mission. One player submits their mission card face up]

The difference between Establish and Open Up is that for EC, the Leader is FORCED to show his card to someone.
For Open Up, the leader forces someone ELSE, to show their loyalty card to someone [Doesn't have to be the leader]

Is the giving out of plot cards dependent on his proposed team's acceptance? Is it also proposed? Announced?

It's just determined by the leader before the choosing of mission specialists. Everyone knows what the cards are, but the leader has total control over who gets them.

Quick story about "Keeping an eye on you".

I was a spy in a 10 person game [4 spies, 6 resistance]. The start up was:

1. Bob - Resistance (Leader)
2. Ken - Spy
3. Amanda - Spy
4. Dillan - Spy
5. Jonathon - Resistance
6. ME - Spy
Then 4 more resistance that don't figure into the story. Mission 1 bob, ken, amanda pass. Mission 2 Ken gives me "Keeping an eye on you" and the mission is chosen of Bob, Ken, Amanda, Jonathon. I use my card to look at jonathon's card [Who of course sent pass] and quickly claimed "We're going to lose this mission".
What happens? Four passes.
........
Everyone turns to stare at me. I didn't know what to say, as I was counting on one of my pals to throw the mission.
So now resistance leads 2-0; they know I'm a spy; AND they know at least 2 of the other 3 were spies.
Somehow spies won [Ken is just awesome at this game].
