John Smeaton, a UK baggage handler, is famous in the UK for not only helping to thwart a suicide attack on Glasgow airport, but for kicking one of the attackers square in the balls, thereby both allowing a security team to arrest him, and making seventy two virgins redundant. Apparently, there's a website where you can buy him a pint.
