No, 15. I got the easter egg alert in case I got to 16 from the scrambled Shakespeare picture (thebard.htm), which I did, and I had no problem with 16 either, but I'm wondering what the easter egg was.

It was just thebard. I indicated in the alert that you almost certainly saw it already. I figured it was possible for someone to anagram without going there first, so if I decide to hide something necesary on that page, I thought that I should mention it was there. I can be more explicit in the alert to clear up any confusion.

Maybe I misunderstood this:
EASTER EGG ALERT: The previous level had an easter egg page, but I'm guessing that the mixed up picture is how you got here. If you got here without seeing this easter egg page, I'm fairly certain you're smart enough to figure out how to find it.

Don't the "but" and "this" suggest there as an easter egg page other than the mixed-up picture?

Essentially, yes. But the letters aren't randomly jumbled. The encoding of the letters follows the instructions suggested by the URL of the level.
