Just read the entirety of the Dead Zone thread. It's hilarious to see peoples posts during the game like tat, and I love the Shot Jedo takes at me Revenge most foul! Going back I agree with you though, I'm sure if i had chose someone else, things would ave ended sooner.

the Ambit was a risky one, i mainly did it because i thought it would buy me a day to kill a very knowledgeable player, especially in regards to the information that the town had.

When i thought about it , it was easier to do that, then to try and buss him on the final, mainly because i knew that would be harder to lynch Houdini. 3iff was a natura target because of the lynch happy town, and well you knew the rest. It was a hard fought game, and I think Zag's comments about the game are spot on. If the town rallied and put the pieces of the puzzle together it was Game Over for Scum.

Well played, mafia, for convincing the town to snatch one spectacular defeat from the jaws of victory.

How many times did the town have to get hammer happy? Didn't everyone get the point about giving the accused a chance to speak after the Umonk lynch?

Yr info didnt clear them, because the mafia recruited....

A five strong mafia, who could recruit at least once, and more if they got powered up, was too strong. But town did incredibly.

Next time LiML wont get so despondent.

For those who were annoyed with me, I almost never get lynched when I should be. I wasn't Amb the Eternal for no reason Revenge most foul! But because of that, I always hammer to kill unless I have a very good reason not to. People like me shouldnt escape as easily as I do.

Great game Zag, and to everyone else as well. Amb I'm not sure why you felt the need to kick me at L-1. With deadline looming I was going to die anyway; the only thing you prevented was my vital town information (which, by the way, didn't exist) from being outed.

I was using it as a claim, and was trying to make myself a mafia target for death. It was better that I died, than say UM died.

Amb, your ability was most powerful at the end of the game. If the last day had had you alive instead of Lucresia, and you'd had a kick left, you could have won the game.

I can't believe scum won after some of the craziness. Kudos to MNO and isau finishing things up nicely, even if it still was a bit scary at times.

The two things I think town didn't do well this game was logic and speed of lynches. You didn't think straight or put information together (which is usually a strong suit of the players here), and you blazed through some lynches which hurt you with regard to information and sometimes the lynching of a townie.

I know I was scum, but I still would have defended both Deception and Amb in the early game. This is where my discussion of "tells" comes in. Their actions seemed scummy, sure, but their motivation and reasons were totally town. You can read a genuineness in their posts. Town tells, that's all I'm saying.

Anyway, the town was still a formidable foe. Now I just wish every mod would have a Fred role so I can survive to play some. Wink Good game, Zag. I know we don't see eye-to-eye, but you certainly are an excellent mod.

It might usually be a strong suit of the players, but most of the players at the end (everyone but Amb?) were relatively new.

I've got to read the game end... but Lucresia and Perpentach, you did it again, a quick lynch without allowing the condemned a last word.

I had MNO in my sights but slipped up near the end when I forgot to say something important. Too late now.

Well played MNO, but I can't believe we let it slip...

Thanks for a great game Zag.

Well my first ever game of mafia is over...

Firstly, thanks to the mafia for not killing me off twice in quick succession. The first killing was essentially harmless so I don't mind. I forgive you.

Possibly making my mafia debut in such a bizarre game didn't help me early on but I think I was able to get up to speed reasonably well. At least I had the mafia wasting time blocking me for no good reason. Apologies to Liml for a slightly hasty lynching...but my lynching was quicker.

Hopefully I did make reasonable contributions to the town cause. Being a new player meant I was relatively easy meat for the mafia, and chasing an extremely mafia-looking Amb didn't help.

I did have a couple of goes at the theme (after it was guessed) and told Zag that I might have a million guesses and still not get it. I figured it out a day later!

But most importantly, I had a lot of fun, even though I finished on the losing side. Thanks to Zag for running an interesting game.

For my next game...I'm going to make lots of notes. This game I had a lot of referring back to earlier days. Better notes of things as they happened would have been very helpful.

No joke. Unfortunately, this can lead to a couple of options which might require some consideration. 1) Jedo is scum because he will never waste a kill on MNO, 2) MNO is scum and is having severe coaching from his buddies not to screw up, or 3) both of the above are true. Wink

BTW, Zag, you claimed that, realistically, the mafia wouldn't want to kill 3iff night 1 with a scum Fred, or recruit 3iff. Even granting that, it's possible that they tried to pick somebody else, but Ctorj redirected them.
