With a rumble, the trapdoor opens. You feel an ominous rush of energy as the trapdoor fully opens.

Pluto and Setsuna just shrug. "Nothing that we can think of."

*sigh* look in the history of five kingdoms for a map, if not there the tauropedia. I must learn to work smarter not harder.

You move ahead. There are archways to the left, to the right, and behind.

You find a map-like page in the Tauropedia, labeled "Maze of Winds". It is a seven-by-seven grid of squares.

Code:

OOXOOOO
OON^OOO
OONNOOO
OOOOOOO
OOOOOOO
OOOOOOO
OOOOOOO

You can't discern the individual shapes within most of the squares, though the square in the fourth column of the second row has an up arrow. Assuming that this is where you entered from, the square with the X would mark your current location, and the squares with Ns indicate nothing of note.

This chamber has what appears to be a patch of wall that doesn't match the rest of the wall. Looking around, you notice that there are walls in all four directions.

This chamber feels familiar.

You inspect the mismatched bit of wall. Visually, it appears to be replacement wall - the stone appears less worn than the surrounding wall. The wall is warm to the touch. You hear an ethereal hum. You think you hear whispers. The wall smells like a wall.

listen against the wall, can I make out the wispers?
If I fashion a cone out of one of the scrolls would I be able to hear better? Is the hum from behind the wall?

You press your ear against the wall. You can make out some of the whispers.

"You go clockwise, I'll go counterclockwise. Gemini, you two make for the downward stair. The rest of you stay here."

The ethereal hum just comes from everywhere. You can't pinpoint it.
