In the vein of the recent MS mystery hunt, I give you a puzzle from the 2007 Google Puzzle Hunt (worn by the author)

The answer is one word. Please spoiler any thoughts/solutions.

6. MOBILE (can't make out first word M-oh-be-eye-el-e)

I'll bet you've added this one by the time I post this, too.

I still can't see anything with #6 except that
CAMINO -> CASINO
but that doesn't seem to get me anywhere else.

edit: Oh, of course. Well spotted Q. For some reason I had seen E-COLI but thought that was a non-starter...

Quick work guys! Well done all.

Of course #6 gives you the T for T-mobile
#7 is the letter sounded out at the START of each word, but close enough.

I've been playing (well, trying to play) a contest that sounds right up your street. Hmm. publish here one clue at a time, or just give you guys the info to find it yourselves?

I got my family to look at this one this evening, and they got there without too much trouble (missed #6 as well.) Thanks.

I vote for one puzzle at a time here. I'm more likely to follow through if it's on the GL.
