A whirring noise is heard. And then the sound of cuckoo. It's 7pm, but the sun is still up. So you all decide to address the subtle problem of robots dying. Someone even roasted and ate Robot Chicken.

And in the distance you hear a voice saying "Destroy him my robots"*

Hmm... this is an interesting dilemma. On the one hand, we're pretty much certain that Durryn is going to die now because of this. On the other hand, we have no knowledge yet as to whether a modkill will trigger day's end or not (I've played games where the mod actually flip-flopped on this issue - though the fact that more than one person got modkilled says a lot about the players).

What risks are we collectively willing to take?

Should we go ahead and start working on the next bandwagon with the expectation that Durryn is going to be modkilled, or should we lynch Durryn now with the expectation that he would not be modkilled?

Is it possible that someone else has a secret vote and stuck it on Sentran in the hopes of producing this sort of situation?

I think Amb was talking about "don't have arguments about the mechanics of a role" rather than "don't talk about your role"...at least that is how it looks to me...

A modkill would be harsh I think...

It could be a secret vote...but it's NOT from me.

It's not mine either. It's possible that someone might have a normal vote and a stealth vote, though that's probably less likely then the possibility that it's either Durryn, 3iff or myself.

So I am with 3iff here on where I understood the rules. I never once got the impression that you could not role claim/talk about your role.

As far as Sentran dying..it sucks. Was looking forward to playing with him for my first game!

Here are my thoughts:

1) someone has a double vote
2) someone has a stealth vote
3) someone is trying to put the pressure on the only known voter for Sentran, which happens to be Durryn.

So Durryn claims vanilla town even though Amb has sad there are no vanilla roles. This does not mean Durryn had an ability that could only be used once and then he turned into a vanilla townie. The only reason I am considering this option is because of how Durryn phrased his last post.
