Frequently when I am replying in a mafia game and trying to scroll through the recent posts to pull text, the box will freeze but the slider will continue. So, I might be looking at Amb's post, but pushing the arrows or using my wheel to view the post above doesn't do anything.

Sometimes, refreshing the page fixes it, but most times not. Help?

Try Firefox, or (shudders) Internet Explorer and see if it continues to happen. When was the last time Chrome was updated on your PC? (was version of chrome is it?)

MNO always gives very good, practical advice which I despise very strongly. I am fully integrated with Chrome and therefore my mind is one with the Interweb. I can't possibly debase myself to use Firefox (that Great Prophet of Chrome) or The Unspeakable Evil. Razz

Anyway, my Chrome is all up to date. I think somehow the page doesn't load completely before I start doing things or something. It's only intermittent, but if it happens once, it tends to happen more frequently during that online session. Unless there's an easier solution, I'll just keep my bitching and moaning to myself.

Do you have any Chrome extensions that would be an issue? (like a turbo cache style extension, or something that would "make your web surfing experiences better")

If Zag is not having a problem but you are, I'm more inclined to think that, rather than it being a Chrome issue. I'm only trying to figure out if it happens on another browser to figure out if it is something within Chrome, or like you said before, a connection issue with the page not loading completely.

The only extensions I have are two AVG protection things.

I hopped over to Firefox for your benefit, but it didn't happen as I clicked around to post in a few different areas. Of course, it's only ever been intermittent when it happens, and I've never been able to tell if there was a common factor to when it occurs.

I'll downgrade myself every now and then to see if it happens. Next time it happens in Chrome, I'll hop over and see if it happens in Firefox too.
