About a year ago, I posted a new kind of Slitherlink that was well received. I woke up this morning and decided to try my hand at a similar variation. Not sure if I came up with this idea first (I doubt it), but I think it has some potential. Let me know what you think.

Rules: Regular Slitherlink rules apply; create a continuous loop where the numbers tell you how many sides of that cell are used by the loop. Additionally, the green cells must be filled with additional Slitherlink clues so that the numbers 0-3 appear once in those cells in every row and column.

No harm. Pun intended!

That was challenging and fun. Although I think I found two possible solutions.

Really? Do tell...it's very possible, though I thought I tested it pretty well beforehand.

You find the duplicate solution by switching the 1's and 3's in the four green squares in the centre.

Ah, blast. I've updated the puzzle with an extra clue that gets rid of that second solution.

Anyway, here's a second one. Its qualities:

1) Diagonal symmetry.
2) Missing clues in every row and column (which makes it feel more pure).
3) Tested by a third party, so almost guaranteed to be unique.
4) Really, really, really hard. Maybe the hardest puzzle I've created.

Yeah, the second one was really, really hard. Very satisfying when you're finally done, though. Revenge most foul!

Thanks for solving it. When creating it, I decided to play with a large center shape and was SHOCKED that the "square with its corners cut off" shape had only two possible solutions before you even added a clue, and those two solutions were really just reflections of one another. I didn't get quite so lucky with the corner shapes...had to keep adding clues until I found something that was unique.
