wanted to say that no i dont see how he could possibly need to
compensate for gravity and point the dart above the monkey if he was
only a few meters away not tomention the fact that the monkey was
probably about 1/3 his size. if he really needed to compensate he must
have had a dart gun with an incredibly outdated launching system,
because i dont think any dart guns made for professional hunters in the
past 50 years (maybe more) have been that weak. also notice that the
solution menetions (or implies) that the monkey and the dart would be
descending at the same rate, which shouldnt be possible because they
would have different densities. and i hate to be the literalist, but why
in the heck would he need to shoot so many monkeys that one could
actually figure all of that out, if he only needs one specimen.
