Here is an alternate answer to the MB II puzzle. The hunter could also be aiming straight up. I know this seems a little silly, but it would work and it makes sense in terms of the puzzle. It could be considered a correct answer. The hunter simply has to position himself under the monkey and falling off the branch will no longer be effective, although the hunter will get a face full of monkey. Standing above the monkey would also work, but that's pretty unrealistic given the scenario.

I agree. It's very silly. And will work. But why would the monkey want to fall onto the bullet? It will just make it hit harder.
