"Potpourri Puzzling for Paralysis"

At long last, the Grey Labyrinth has reached the 100th puzzle mark. For this special occasion, I thought we would do something really special.

It's a brand new Potpourri Puzzle! For those who are new to the Grey Labyrinth, Potpourri puzzles are a dozen very challenging questions that span multiple disciplines- science, literature, art, mathematics, obscure trivia, etc. These potpourri puzzles are the only ones in which we encourage visitors to submit their answers if they think they can solve all twelve.

And for this 100th puzzle, and the holiday season, we're offering a special challenge: If any person or group of people working together can solve all twelve by December 31, 2000, the Grey Labyrinth will donate $5000 to the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation.
