I want to know what you all think about this war. Do you think it is a just war? I am thinkin that america sure looks like the bad guy in all this. Now that Iraq is all messed up I think it is going to be our tax dollars that will be fixin it all up. Don't all think maybe just maybe if we would spend less on forign ad on focus on the good old USA that our economy would be lookin better. I found out that the US spends 8 Billion every year for isreal. That comes out to be 800 dollars to every person. ah hello. What do you all think?

Well its good to see all of you here on the board. I am at the FBLA-PBL state conference and it seems to have a lot to do with technology lately. The keynote speaker was a guy from the Utah Film comission. It was very interesting.

All I have to say is that those student films that we saw in class were pretty cool. Especially the Star wars ones, Star Wars rules.

Star Warts is as lame as it gets, but the movies were very funny. I really liked "Troops." Kill the little droid stealing monks! Ya!

the best part of the star wars troop one was when they responded to the domestic call and the trooper guy turned the tables around so that the victim was the guilty one. that was the best. i wish i had the resources to just go make something...but as probably all of you..i'm broke.

Hey you all just checking is as for what joblack was saying about the war. I think that we did the right thing. Just seeing the images of the Iraqi people on tv should be enough to at least let us feel pity for them. I don't like the fact that people are dying and are killing each other, but I think that there will be a lot of good that will come out of it. As for us giving money to other countries.... I really don't think that we as a people look at the whole picture? Why should we just think about our selves. I think that by giving money to others we are making investments our economy needs to import and export goods. If we can give developing countries aid who says that it won't help us later? I have lived in another country it is not like it is over here. If you people want to complain about the United States and the conditions that exsist here just go live somewhere else and then you will appreciate what you have here. Where I lived gas costed about a dollar a liter thats about 4 times the price here. Also food was really expensive but they managed to survive stop complain and open your eyes.

I agree with cheese about the war. Is it really hurting us that bad to help these people. I think that the operation packages(like operation smile) that people do to help others is awesome and not at all a waste of time. Another thing is those dang war protestors. I want to see their faces when they watch the people in Iraq cheering and hugging our troops for what they have done for them. They are truly grateful for our troops. Why should we stop helping them, we fight the war for them because they don't have what is needed to fight.

ihaven't been keeping up on the news...did we find actual chemical weapons? i'm all for this war and i don't see how any can't be...but even if they can't, i wished they'd keep their mouths closed about our troops. they're just doing their job and should support them.
if the protestors have to be all mad i hope they remember the old saying.... hate the sin, love the sinner.

I agree with the war. I also agree that we need to help other countries out and stop complaining about the things that we have. It could be a lot worse. We right now need to unite whether we are for or against the war. Our troops need the support. They are doing us a HUGE favor. The least we could do is say we are proud of them.

Everyone needs to have their own opinion, but sometimes the differences in those opinions need to be set aside for the benefit of the whole. With the world splitting in so many directions right now the people of the United States really should stand together and stop bickering amongst themselves. Discussion is fine, but arguments never help.

Hey all, just checking in. So about the whole war topic, I am kind of bias about the whole situation. It's a good thing that we are tryin to help the Iraqi's, and overthrow the regime. But then again I think who are we to go in and invade a country b/c we feel that thier govt. system is wrong?? Who's to say that we are right and that our govt. is right? Maybe we are wrong to go in and bomb a country, and with these actions kill innocent people. All and all in ends up that war is never a good thing! Well there's some food for thought, just bringing up some different views. peace

Hey Everyone,

I find the internet downloading of clips very fasinating. I feel it is o.k. to download clips of shows because they are usually not for sale anyway unlike songs and dvds. You can find little clips of your favorite t.v. shows and unknown clips that people just make up and post that are funny. I havn't downloaded anything personally but I have seen a few my cousin has downloaded.

Actually my cousin is over on the front lines in Iraq. It boggles my mind how young our troops really are. My cousin is just turned 20 years old. I also have a few second cousins serving so this war really hits close to home when you can put a face to it. I say if you are for or against this war we all need to support our troops.

it's not a matter of "our government is right and yours is wrong." it's sadam not complying with rules and regulations...and us liberating. we're not there to take over, and make iraq the 51st state. the guy is just evil and him lying allowed us the opportunity to get rid of him...sorta. i don't think it has anything to do with bush having a personal need to avenge his father. i'm tired of hearing that one...atleast just say it's the texas in him with the need to fight...that sounds more classy and modern day.

I think Syria is more involved than we think and more than they are admitting. I hope this doesn't mean our troops will have to stay any longer than necessary, but we can't walk away and let things build in Syria like they did the last ten years in Iraq.

Hey everyone,

It will be interesting to see what kind of networking and technology we help Iraq with. We discussed a lot on the effects these systems can have on a country. How will this help the people of Iraq? This is interesting because the very few people of Iraq who had communication such as television where very controlled in what they saw which effected their views. I have heard talk of us setting up a t.v. station and Bush/Blair have already broadcast speeches to the people.
I feel the effects and benefits of sharing health care through technology as well as hands on which we talked about this week in class will be great for all involved. For example I have seen many things going on in the hospitals of Iraq that could be avoided with the simple sharing of information. They reported that Jessica Lynch the rescued p.o.w. was going to have her legs amputated by doctors in Iraq just like many people they show on t.v. This is something that will not have to happen now that she is home with our information on treatments. Just think of the knowledge we have and will share which will stop unecessary pain and suffering and even death.
I find Marion's lessons very interesting, They really get me thinking.

Hey I just heard on the radio taday that one of the radio stations got an email from an IRAQ citizen. Someone from Bagdad noticed an Amarican writing an email to the radio station in the US and asked if he could write something: He said, "I am so grateful for you wonderful people coming and helping us. I love the Americans you are great, thanks for all your help."
How cool is that!
I think this was a good thing! The people are greatful over there in Iraq.
