I remember a song with beeps that were somewhat like that. Do you knwo what song it is? I forgot the lyrics, so I can't search for it

------------------
GL DPWestley: I had my backspace key removed and a beverage dispenser pur in it's place. See? I can't go back and fix "put."
GLmathgrant: I once was banned from a M:TG tourney for bringing over 50 banned cards! They were Ace of Clubs, Ace of Diamonds, Ace of Hearts, Ace of Spades, 2 of Clubs. . .

If by "somewhat like that" you allow "only a little like that," it really reminded me of the Doogie Howser Theme Song.

You probably want something that actually follows the tune, though.

I used to love that theme! Glad to hear it again. But it's more of a pop song, I think. I heard it first on a station called The-N (They played it between two reruns of Square One), and recognized it again at a Taco Bueno. The Taco Bueno was too noisy to hear the words, so despite having been there only two days ago, I have nothing to use to search for the song.

Yeah, the beeps in the song are much closer to the melody I posted.

I've watched the N before, for Daria. I had to have the channel changer near to hand, though, lest I not react quickly enough to a commercial break and be forced to see Degrassi advertisements. That show looks worse than the Gary Coleman Show cartoon (and trust me, that was a bad show).

You call it the channel changer, casinopete?
At our house we called it the tv changer (I still do call it that) and I thought we were just weird.

Oh, and I don't recognize the tune, sorry.

hmm.

That's rather funny. I used to call it a channel changer, but I've been calling it a remote for like the last 6-8 years. I have no idea where that came from.

By which I mean. . . you are weird, Faeriefire. fnord.

My brother thinks it might be a Super Mario Bros. theme song.

On the other hand, i think it might be a song called Cats Delicacy maybe. I don't know if that's the title of it, but a friend sent it to me, and it has something that sounds like that. I'll E-mail it to you.

What lenaya said.

It's not the exact same thing, but I think that's what whoever made the midi was going for.

There are programs that will let you write music on the computer, but most MIDI comes from people who have a keyboard hooked up to their computer.

People don't make MIDIs. They download them from all over The Internet.

Yes, people do download MIDIs from the internet... from other people who have made them. No, you don't necessarily need to have a keyboard to make a MIDI file, either. Clicking and dragging notes onto staves (or creating a piano roll, a computer version of what the old player pianos used) works just as well.
