Forget the cartoon characters etc for the moment - this one is a bit more serious.

Take your outcome, and check here for more information on your type.

I am a Duty_fulfiller. Practically spot on, I must say.

ENFP- The Inspirer

"Enthusiastic, idealistic, and creative. Able to do almost anything that interests them. Great people skills. Need to live life in accordance with their inner values. Excited by new ideas, but bored with details. Open-minded and flexible, with a broad range of interests and abilities."

That's pretty head on of what I feel I am. And most of the detailed description also rings true.

INFP, if I recall what I got using the "don't bother actually taking the test, just look over the possible results and see which one makes us cry" method.

Test says: ISFP. Interesting, but inaccurate; according to the list of possible results, ISFPs are characterized by curiosity and mechanical aptitude, qualities I lack in such magnitude it's amazing (same with the whole "detached and analytical" thing).

Edit: On the other hand, it says INFPs are "usually talented writers" and "mentally quick"...

Just like the two other times we did this on the GL, I'm an ISTP. I took that exact test before, I swear. Haven't seen those personality descriptions before though, they're pretty interesting.

Assertive and outspoken - they are driven to lead. Excellent ability to understand difficult organizational problems and create solid solutions. Intelligent and well-informed, they usually excel at public speaking. They value knowledge and competence, and usually have little patience with inefficiency or disorganization.

Except for that "well informed" thing, probably not too far off.

I *think* that this is not middle, but rather strongly INTJ. I believe the numbers are on a scale where 0 is the middle (for example, half J and half P) and 100 is the extreme (all J).

(I think mine were 67/44/1/11)

The Briggs-Meyer test can be (and is) administered by professionals who will ask in the range of 500 questions. This site seems to be of relatively decent quality to match y'all up so well.

Mind you, the psychology bit of such tests is a load of bull. Some tests offer life advice, depending on your reading. Kinda like a horoscope, only with 16 different types of people instead of 12.

I'm a INTJ with a question mark on the Judger/Perceiver part. Like so many of ya.

What about the bums sleeping on the sidewalks of downtown San Francisco? What personality types are they, I wonder. All the same, or are some Executives, some Visionaries, etc? Not many Idealists or Inspirers, I'm guessing.

Interesting to me was that the types one step removed (Executive, Duty Fulfiller, The Protector and The Thinker) all felt somewhat right as well and the complete opposite (Performer) felt completely off.

    Not bad.

Yup, that's me. the Idealist. Same results every time I have taken this test in the past. I thought it would've changed by now, since I am more socialable and "grown up". Wiser and more responsible, etc. Nope. I guess one's core personality/characteristics never really changed throughout life regardless of how much experiences you go through.

    INTJ. 67/44/56/1.

A similar test was linked to in Off Topic a long time ago. At that time, the GL seemed to be overwhelmingly INTP, myself included. It's interesting that now so many people are INTJ. I think this test may just be biased toward the J, since every other time I've taken this kind of test, I've been INTP.

And am I just unobservant, or have you not posted in a while, Sami?
