Ok, time for my own odd recurring freaky dream:

I walk through an open door into a building (I think it's a tower block). From the outside, it looks perfectly normal - red brick, with concrete ground surrounding it, normal number and size of windows and doors, you get the picture. There are people sitting around small tables, laughing, drinking and talking. They don't notice me.

I take an elevator up to the second floor, and when it opens, I step into a room which has murals of a beach painted on the walls. As I walk through this room, it turns into an actual beach, but it's still inside the room. I walk up to a window on the opposite side of the room, and hitch myself up onto the ledge. Suddenly, I find myself falling out of the window towards the ground.

It looks like I'm going to hit the concrete and meet a very sticky end, but instead, I land in a pile of broken bicycles in the middle of a field. When I try to get up, I notice my leg is caught in the spokes of one of the bicycles, and so I stay where I am. Then, I wake up.

Weird, huh?

I guess i'll throw in my two cents...
When I was young I had a serial dream in which I was being chased by a vampire... it lasted a few months and ended when the vampire caught me... According to my therapist this was most likely a case of "impostor syndrome" as extropalopakettle calls it... unfortunately, I was too young to associate my dreams with real life situations...
Anyway, I frequently have serial dreams in the same night (i.e. I have five dreams all dealing with the same thing, and in temporal order...) Anybody know if this signifies something?
Anyway, serial dreams or recurrent dreams usually signify something significant in one's life... unfortunately, nobody can tell you what these dreams mean, you have to sit down alone and discover what they mean to you on their own...
the best way of doing this is "free association"... write down what you remember about the plot of the dream so you don't forget it... Then either write down (or say) whatever comes to your mind right away and don't stop... eventually you'll arrive at the actual meaning of the dream, and it's significance to your own life...
Just wanted to see if I could help some poor folks out there with recurring nightmares... usually once you discover the meaning of the dream, you can address it in real life, and the dream will go away...
