Who would win in a fight, Electro, or Magneto?
Magneto is the "Master of Magnetism" and Electro is more or less electricity personified.
(the argh is because this question has been bothering me all day)

Unrelated: Have you ever noticed that if all the other X-Men and other mutants wore long sleeves and masks, Rogue would be useless?

it used to be that she didn't use her actual powers much, just the left over powers from Miss Marvel

Hmmm, electricity and magnets go hand in hand. I think electricity can control magnetism (I might be wrong) as in electromagnets. But then again, anything electrical has magnetic field, which Magneto could manipulate. Bah, I'm as lost as you are.
I'm lost! I'm lost *-hits head on tree-branch-*
I say the two should join forces.

Alright, but if Miss Marvel had been wearing a mask and long sleeves, she'd still be... living (I know she's not dead, but yeah).

I don't know anything about Electro, but Magneto is pretty advanced with his powers, isn't he? He may win because of that edge.

It depends on who moves first. Whoever has the chance to use their powers first will prevent the other one form moving.

However, if they can still use their powers even if immobilized (which I think they can) then it'd be a tie. They'd each just hold the other still.

Yeah. Gotta go with Magneto.

Electro might have a chance at blasting him unawares, but generally speaking, Magneto's powers cover affecting electricity, so he'd be able to defend, whereas I don't know if there's anything Electro could do when Magneto threw a couple of cars at him.

electro could just run some high voltage around the car, thus making it a magnet and make it fly the other way straight at magneto. take that!

I don't think that would work.
Magneto has power over the magnetic field.
He is not a magnet, nor is he made of iron.

No, electro would zap magneto before he could do anything, but if there were large metal objects around electro would be hit, but if there weren't....argh!

Courk, robi: but the problem with using the first strike reasoning is that it works for nearly any pair of combatants. For instance, Xavier cannot lose if he moves first (barring Magneto's and Juggernaut's mental-power-blocking helmets), but if anyone manages to get the jump on him, he can't really do anything. I was assuming a situation in which they both knew they were gonna be duking it out.

I'd say it would depend on environment. A place with a lot of metal would give magneto an advantage, while say a hydro-electric power plant might give advantage to elctro. I really don't know who electro is though.

Agreed. The blob merely holds onto the ground so to speak. Juggernaut is unstoppable not only because he's pushing against the ground but because he's moving with mystical force.

Well, Werebear can live forever. I think any damage bionic man could do to him, even disembowelment, would be easily repaired by the ring. I'll go with Werebear in 3.

I can take Werebear in 1. the only ring power he has is the stench from the ring of nonwashing around his neck.

well, as far as I know, no amount of telekinies or super strength has been able to move the Blob against his will, so I don't think he's any less immovable than Juggernaut is unstoppable

Am I the only one that finished that sentence in head, before reading the end, and thought a different ring was being talked about?
