They had on low-quality fake noses in the picture, the photoshopper tried his best to make them look real (while leaving the ridiculous proportions alone).

Wow that's some editing done there. Makes you doubt how good anything/anyone you see in a magazone really looks.

Some of the scenery picture editing where they combine elements is really amazing though.

Gotta go with Courk on this. The 'demonic' look in the Before picture was clearly the result of bad lighting rather than any physical imperfections. The thing I noticed most on the face shot was the elimination of any indication that human skin has any sign of actual texture. Evidently, this is a Bad Thing, so far as standards of beauty go.
