actually, I bet you don't suck, I bet you're simply "only a little above average at them." I don't think you get a normal video game skillz curve from the people on this site. Zealot, Digglu, mudster, and UnheardVoice all seem to be video gaming wizards.

I am generally pretty good at video games, but my top score on the worm game was a mere 1500 and change.

methinks I played to much minigolf as I look at my score of 24. That is, I'm frustrated that my top score of 21 is staying elusive. i need to beat my friends score of 20.

To prove that 18 is possible, all you need to do is get a hole-in-one at each hole. Taking a look at the screen I still have open, showing the results of the game in my post above, I have gotten hole-in-one at the following holes: 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 9, 13, 18. Have any to add? Presumably, you do .

The repeated scores are easy to explain. The probability of repeated scores, especially in the thousands, might seem extremely low, but the floating blocks are all evenly spaced: they appear every 30 points starting with 99. So if you crash into a floating block, you will get a score of form 99 + 30k, where k is a nonnegative integer (or more simply a number of form 30k + 9, where k is an integer greater than or equal to 3). If you crash into a wall, though, I think any score >= 18 is potentially possible (yes, I've gotten 18), although I haven't tested this.

after having an average of 9 on the kickup game, i get a miraculous streak and end up with a 120 out of nowhere. 35 ont the golf game don't remember which ones i hit holes in one on.

A couple of tries?? It took me a lot more than that to get my scores. BTW, I've managed to get 2487. I will beat this game!

I think I got par on the golf game.

For the soccer and the Orisinal games, I'm pretty much guaranteed to do poorly on any heavily mouse-oriented game because I'm working on a ThinkPad with a trackpoint, not a real mouse.
