Tag® Revisited

[Agamemnon]

In the olden days of the GL, there was once a fabled game called Tag®.
In this game, One had to enter the Labyrinth and evade whoever was Tagged by being cunning and swift.
Now, as the Tag® game returns, I challange you all to enter and play.
The game ends when it is figured out why people get tagged.

The mod has a secret rule regarding posts in the thread that makes them taggable or non-taggable, like "If a post has an odd number of periods, it's taggable" or "If a post begins with a vowel, it's taggable". If you make a taggable post, you are it. Become it three times, and you may not post any more. The game ends when the rule is solved by somebody.

so, this is pretty much like the serial killer/hanibal the canibal game

[Agamemnon]

Saberkitty enters the Labyrinth. She tip-toes around the passages, un-noticed.

Behind her is Pikachamp, bold and energetic, stomping around the Labyrinth in a brash manner. Pika goes un-noticed too.

dethy follows Pika, but he takes a more stealth approach. He slides along the corridoors, keeping himself away from reaching hands.

Saberkitty, still unsure of how the game is played, shouts out hoping anyone can hear her. Alas, no-one take notice and she is left where she is.

[Agamemnon]

Vegtable2001 enters. He looks around but see's nothing. Pika approaches him.

"Hey Vegtable2001......seen who is tagged yet?"
"I've just arrived". Replied Vegtable2001. "Not you is it?"
"Nah" Chuckled Pika. As he runs off into the dark chambers.

Vegtable2001 seems bemused, but at least he has not been tagged.

Pika is still running around like a headless chicken on LSD. He stops near the entrance, watching quercitron enter the Labyrinth.
Just as Pika was about to go and meet quercitron, Agamemnon appeared.

"Hello quercitron old chum." Smiled Agamemnon in a shifty way. "Nice to meet you after all this time."
Agamemnon held out his hand, gesturing it for to shake in friendship.
quercitron smiled, took the friendship offer and shook Agamemnon's hand.
"Hahahahaha, got you old bean, now you are it." Agamemnon laughed as he vanished into the darkness.
quercitron seemed very miffed. He turned around only to see Pika run away, shouting out loudly that quercitron is now it.

[Agamemnon]

The Messiah (Antrax) enters and passes un-noticed. But he hears quercitron in the distance, mumbling something about shaking hands with Tubby Limeys.

*waves to ant*

[Agamemnon]

....and the Messiah waves back to Pika. Both are still well away from the reaches of quercitron.

ehhh...I still don't really get this. So does the person tagged get an e-mail telling them what the taggable offense is or something?

Hitchhiker wanders in and looks around, carrying a kakapo.

well being it, the person that just got tagged should be the game master - until the next GLer gets it.

Ow and could we repeat posts that did not have the effect of getting tagged? (although it might be completely useless. but then again it might not. who knows?...)

Pika decides to meet quercitron. As Pika nears, quercitron reaches out and tags. Pika is quite taken aback with this and falls over in shock.

SaberKitty enters the Labyrinth, see Pika slumped in the corner and approaches.
"Keep away." Shouts dethy. "Pika is it."
SaberKitty swiftly runs away along the opposite corridoor.

coyote enters, looking bewildered and agog. He follows a bright light he see's and ends up in a room with the Messiah.

Hitchhiker stumbles into the Labyrinth, takes a swig from a battered leather bound hipflask, then falls into a cavern near the door.

Pika, although being 'it', waves to the Messiah. He does not yet realise that his last post (#13) would have made him 'It' once more.

CrystyB enters. He looks around then trots off along the East corridoor.

Pika is still on the floor, only this time his post is clear.

SaberKitty stumbles back into the entrance. Pika is still dizzy as SaberKitty edges past.

Pika glances up.
"Uhuhohuh, ugnghhh."
He falls back down again.

[Agamemnon]

SaberKitty returns to where Pika is.
"you're only making yourself more it." She whispers.
"Hah! Got you." Cries Pika as he jumps up and tags SaberKitty on the shoulder. "Nah nah nah nah naaaaaah." Laughs Pika as he runs away.

SaberKitty is now 'It'.

rarrrr! fear my kitty!

The game is suspended for the night. It shall resume tomorrow.

Ah, but before the game is suspended, SaberKitty's post keeps her tagged.


Mole enters, trips over a clump of moss, tumbles down a hole and falls on SaberKitty.
"Bloody hell, A gift! Here, have this."
With that, SaberKitty tags mole.

mole is now 'It'.

Mole looks up from the pit he fell into. Looking down at his is Werebear.

"I assume you are the One who is 'it'?" Smiled werebear as he waved and walked off.
"Pah!" Huffed mole, who brushed himself down and set off into the Labyrinth.
