I'll play. Will this be similar to roll playing games like ADD + GURPS or like FF (1-1,000,000)?

This is more similar to FF games.

So, here's a basic rundown of your stats setup. You all have different weapons and magic materias.

Everyone has 100 HP, 30 MP,

Sparticus- Metal Sword, Earth materia
Degenerate- Laser Blade, Lightning materia
rlp- Crossbow, Ice materia
Damelon- Chaingun, Fire Materia
UVGF- Shock-lance, Water materia

-All of the above magic take out 8 MP. When you get summons later on, they will also use MP.

You all start out in your village, Thire. You are at the Guru's house. Ask him what you like before starting your journey.

Guru- "The Apocalypse materia is similar to any other materia. It is a black materia stone with a bright red gem in the center. The Apocalypse Prophecy says that when the Materia is summoned, the stone will shine a crimson color. The sky will turn black and blood-red clouds shall fill the horizon. Screams and ghoulish cries will come up from the earth, as light is swallowed up by darkness. As for the rest, I do not know the details. Oh, and I did forget that I do have something to give you. It is a keystone that I would like you do give to a warlock in the Mazar dungeon, if you reach there. When you reach there, he will offer you something in return. Take it. You may now go on your journey, head west towards the town of Fincrole. Please, stop the Sorcerer!!!!"

With that, you all begin your journey to find Dresilius, the sorcerer.

Oh, and rlp, yes, you will find several summons in the world (maybe some involving dragons), ranging from mystical creatures to spirits and ancient powers.

((I liked her mostly because she had the coolest Ra-Seru, and fighting moves. I always liked claws as weapons. It took me no time at all to find the Sage's Chests, mainly because I'm a compulsive treasure hunter (Note: For treasure hunter, read thief. You go into people's houses and open their treasure chests, taking their stuff, in every RPG I've ever played (SNES onwards) japanese untranslated included. How cool is that?) and found all of them before I was supposed to. I thought it was odd the chests wanted Soru Bread after I opened it, so I saved and gave them some Soru Bread. Then I went to the top and found out I needed to do that.))
*nods head to Thail* "Thank you." *follows UVGF* "If we find Summon Bahamut materia, I'm getting it. If we find Summon Tiamat materia, I'll trade Bahamut for it. If anyone else gets either of those, or anything else dragon related, I'll kill them."

The Shopkeeper hands Damelon his stuff.

Since Sparticus hasn't posted, i think it would be wise for you all to start on your journey.

At nightfall, you all head out of your city. It is dark outside. You all follow behind Degenerate, the only one who has a flashlight. As you follow a dusty path between two fields, you all notice that their are 9 idle persons standing silently in the fields, and one idle man standing in front. Degenerate points the flashlight at them, and you all notice that they are scarecrows. But something about these scarecrows isn't right....their faces have a strange look, an expression of frozen horror and despair. Why would their faces be like that? Were they once real beings? As you pass them, they begin to move, silently at first. They come towards you. The one standing in front raises it's arm. It is holding an ax. The others come at you with rakes and daggers.

--Battle!!!!--
Scarecrows (10) - 50Hp (Each)

First of all, I think it be wise if you all elect a leader of the group now. All RPG's have a group leader. Everyone each gets one vote. You may vote for yourself. Battle.

Yes, you may use your magic spells. When you buy or receive a materia, it is given that you have equipped it to your weapon. As for slots, your first weapon has a max of 5. When you reach other weapons either randomly or in a store, I will denote how many slots they have. But as for your level 1 weaponry, they have only 5 slots.

*The scarecrows gang up on you

Scarecrow 1 (attacked by Sparticus)- 13/50 Hp
Scarecrow 1 (knife) and Scarecrow 2 (pick) attack Sparticus, who receives 28 damage.

Scarecrow 5 (attacked by Damelon) - 11/50 Hp
Scarecrow 5 (dagger) and Scarecrow 3 (shovel) attack Damelon, who receives 23 damage.

Scarecrow 4 (attacked by rlp) - 10/50 Hp
Scarecrow 4 (hammer) and Scarecrow 6 (rake) attack rlp, inflicting 34 damage.

Scarecrow 7 (50/50 Hp; sledgehammer), Scarecrow 8 (50/50 Hp; crowbar), and Scarecrow 9 (50/50 Hp; spear) attack Degenerate, hurting him 51 Hp.

The Leader Scarecrow, (75/75 Hp) attacks UVGF with his sharpened axe, hurting him 30 Hp.

Come on Degen and UVGF, POST!!!!

UVGF, it's not like you are only given one chance to purchase materia, and then that's it. UVFG, in most RPG's i've played, materia usually appears in the cities ahead. If you insist on commiting suicide, then that is your choice. It's not like I can restart the game so you can go back and get Restore. I'm sorry if you didnt get to post in time, but you seemed to be online quite often so i figured you didn't want it. Oh well, i'm sorry then.

UVGF's water attack drains the Leader Scarecrow to 16/75 Hp, but the leader scarecrow dodges his charged-up Shock Lance. It counter-attacks with a sharp axe blow to his shoulder. This hurts him 27 Hp.

Although Degenerate's attack instantly vaporizes Scarecrow 7, he is pummeled by Scarecrows 8 and 9 as he is continuously beaten by the crowbar and stabbed with the spear. He now is in critical condition after losing 36 Hp.

*casts restore on Degenerate* You know, the point of having a crossbow is that I get to stay away from the enemy and hurt them at the same time, also being safe when I cast spells (usually healing). Don't kill yourself, UVGF. It'll be a waste of magic. You got the Lightning spell, and that ought to work as well. *casts Ice on Leader Scarecrow* *fires crossbow bolt at Leader Scarecrow*

Glad to hear it, UVGF.

With rlp's Ice attack against the Leader scarecrow, it explodes. She is attacked by Scarecrow 5 and receives 12 damage. She restores Degenerate's Hp to 63.

UVGF shocks Scarecrow 4, obliterating it into millions of pieces. Scarecrow 6 attacks him with its rake drawing out 8 Hp.

Sparticus attacks scarecrow 1 with his sword. Slice! Scarecrow 1 falls apart. But Scarecrow 2 attacks him taking out 11 Hp.

Scarecrow 3 smacks Damelon, taking out 13 Hp.

Scarecrow 8 smacks Degenerate with a crowbar while Scarecrow 9 stabs him. He loses 29 Hp.

code:

Killed scarecrows-
1, 4, 7, and the Leader (#10).

Still Alive -
2 (50/50); attacking Sparticus with pick.
3 (50/50); attacking Damelon with shovel.
5 (11/50); attacking rlp with dagger.
6 (50/50); attacking UVGF with rake.
8 (50/50); attacking Degen with crowbar.
9 (50/50); attacking Degen with spear.

Keep at it!!!!
